The barber was super meticulous 12/25/2012

Well I decided to try Prestige Barber Shop out due to the reviews and it being somewhat close to my work in Midtown NYC. I called to make an appointment but the guy on the phone said it's OK to walk in. The place was easy to find and I had to wait about 10 minutes before it was my turn. The barber was super meticulous and cut my hair exactly the way I like it! A head massage at the end of the cut was very nice as well. It's $20 for a cut and I'm definitely happy with the service! You simply can't go wrong with a Barber Shop that is in a business for 20 years! I didn't catch my barber’s name but he was a very nice guy. Highly recommend and will be a returning customer as long as I can! more

All the barbers at Prestige Barber Shop are top notch 12/24/2012

The Prestige Barber Shop is hands down the best barber shop in Manhattan, NYC and arguably the all New York. I have been going there since the doors opened and not once in the past 18 years have I let another "barber shop" touch my hair. All the barbers at Prestige Barber Shop are top notch. Best of all, everyone who gets their hair cut at Prestige immediately becomes part of the family. Every first time customer who walks through the door gets a nice greeting with friendly smile. All the barbers are also great with kids. This Barber Shop is more than a haircut....it's an experience. Go check it out for yourself. more

The best barbers in the WORLD!!! 2/9/2011

Prestige Barber Shop has been cutting my hair for the last 6-7 years or so. First and foremost, my favorite barber consistently cuts it well, whether I want it longer or shorter, scissors or razor. Then, there are always the jokes and stories to lighten up one’s day. I would recommend this place to anyone. more

Midtown Manhattan barber shop 1/28/2011

A friend of mine recommended Prestige Barber Shop and I am pleased to say this shop is very much becoming a favorite. My first visit was a trim and a blow dry and a barber did it beautifully. He was friendly and made me feel great about my hair! I would happily recommend this barber shop! more

I had my haircut done at Prestige Barber Shop 2 weeks ago. I wasn't sure what I wanted. The barber suggested several options I could go with and took great care with my hair. He made sure I was happy about the cut every step of the way. The result was beautiful! Will definitely go back. more

The best barbers in NYC 1/21/2011

The barber was fabulous! And other guys are lovely people. I got incredible hair cut which was just what I needed for my date with beautiful girl. That’s what I call THE SERVICE! Best barbershop in New York 1/19/2011

Prestige Barber Shop is the Best in NYC! I got there one of those haircuts where I walked out smiling ear to ear! The staff is professional and genuine about having a chat with you. Great customer service and the barber that did my hair did a stunning job with both the cut and shave. I had so many compliments that night. Not expensive excellent service. Would highly recommend trying this place out. more

The haircuts, the service, the place, everything is good. I do not like going anywhere else. They are pretty cheap and only provide with the best quality. You can tell them how you want your hair, show them a picture, anything you want, they will provide with. I am definitely going back. more

I have really thick hair that tends to only look good short. Everyone thinks that this is the easiest hair to cut and no one actually knows how to fade it correctly. I am so happy I finally found this place. They actually fade my hair perfectly and I always walk out of Prestige Barber Shop with a smile on my face. more

Best barber shop 10022 1/3/2011

Very refreshing and reminds me of the barber shop my dad used to take me to. Always a good haircut mixed with a good conversation. I also appreciate the fact that they are licensed barbers and work hard to keep the place running smoothly. There is never an empty seat. I keep coming back. Always an enjoyable experience! The staff is so friendly and the prices are great. I get to get away from my wife for a little while and talk to the guys. The place is really clean and I always feel comfortable when I go to Prestige Barber Shop. Would definitely recommend to all of my friends! more

Always great haircut at Prestige 12/21/2010

I recently moved to NYC from California and was a little uneasy about letting just anyone touch my hair. I have had the same lady cut my hair since I was born. I moved in with my relatives and they took me to Prestige Barber Shop, assuring me that this is the best barber shop around. I am so happy about the haircut they gave me! I am now a loyal customer of Prestige Barber Shop. They really know what they are doing. more

In Prestige Barber Shop you always get a quality haircut every time. Even if the place is busy the guy takes his time with every customer and won’t rush anyone.
