Premier Wood Floors

Eric was helpful and accommodating from the first visit. We had hardwood floors under a variety of different surfaces. Eric spent a lot of time talking with me and my husband about the job and what we could expect. We refinished the floors as part of a construction project. We were given short notice by the contractor that new floors needed to be in for cabinet installation. Eric agreed to come out on a Saturday during Christmas week to install new hardwood floors in our kitchen so we could have our cabinets installed on Monday. Then it was time to do the refinishing. We had the new floor, existing hardwood in an addition to the house and the original hardwood. Eric was able to refinish the three different floors so that they all matched. Stains, holes and wood glue from prior floors all were gone. He was a pleasure to deal with. He agreed to do the job in two phases so we did not have to move out all of the furniture. It was a large project that he made simple and pleasurable. The results are wonderful. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. more

Premier Wood Floors redid our floors and painted our cabinets. Eric did a great job and made sure that we were happy with the final result. The first time that Eric came out to the house, he was here for an hour and took the time to explain everything. I did not feel as if he was trying to rush or pressure me into making a decision. Eric came back out a second time to talk to my husband, which I appreciated. He also provided provided us with a list of references that helped us make our decision. He was highly recommended. The floors were a major concern for us because we are very selective and did not want a light natural floor but rather a natural honey finish. After the first coat, we were not happy with the color -- not because of the work that Eric had done, but because the color was too light. Eric was very patient in working with us until the color was what we wanted. He explained that the honey color of our old floors was an effect of the aging of the polyurethane on the floors. So, to achieve the color that we wanted, he ended up putting a tint in the floors. Overall, we were very happy with Premier Wood Floors. Eric was friendly and easy to work with. You feel comfortable asking him any questions and voicing any concerns you have. more

The workers were friendly and respectful of my home. Communication was accomplished easily through phone, text and email with merchant responding promptly. The work was done in the time specified in the proposal. Price of service was reasonable and comparable to market standards. The process generated minimal dust and clean up was simple. Overall entire experience was favorable. more

Premier Wood Floors did a better job than what I expected both in terms of quality and service. I initially decided to use them based on some Internet research I did as well as word-of-mouth referrals from people who had used them or heard about them. They were very professional and courteous. They did the flooring for the main level of our home as well as the stairs going up to the second level, the stairs down to the basement, and the hallway -- everything but the bedrooms. I had a great experience with Premier Wood Floors, am very pleased with the work they did, and would definitely use them again. more

I had a great experience with Premier Wood Floors. They refinished the hardwood floors in 4 bedrooms as well as my stairs and the family room. The guys who did the work were friendly and timely. They came when they were supposed to and cleaned up afterward. I did not think that they would be able to do anything with one of the rooms, but they were able to make it look a lot better. Having previously had my floor done the old-fashioned way, with sanding and plastic all over the place, I much prefer Eric's method. With Premier Wood Floors, the job was easy and quick and it was not an imposition on the family in terms of not being able to walk on the floors. Eric with Premier Wood Floors is amazing. I had floors that we were refurbishing in a house for resale. The floors had black spots everywhere and we had given up on the idea of attempting to do the work ourselves. Premier Wood Floors took on the challenge and the result is unbelievable. We first had Eric come out and evaluate the floors. He was straightforward and said that they might have to replace some of the boards but that he was up to the challenge of refurbishing them and would do his best. We appreciated this because the cost of refurbishing was far less than the price to replace the flooring. We picked a dark, walnut stain for the floors and I appreciated that he did a test to show me how it looked before I made the final decision. Eric and his crew were meticulous about the entire job, which took about 3 days to complete. Not only did they not have to replace the floors but the house sold and, when people walk in, the first thing they say is that the floors are beautiful. They are shiny and even-toned. Eric is an artist, not just a floor finisher. I am very particular about the quality of work done, especially when it is something that I am asking someone else to buy, as it was with this house. I am thrilled with the work that Premier Wood Floors did. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with them. more
