Prairie Farm Kennel

All I can say is WOW!!! Sherie and Prairie Farm kennel is HORRIABLE. Please don't take your dogs there. I know 100% my dog was abused, he smelt like urine and feces. He has stayed at many kennels and when I picked him up this morning he was nothing like how he normally is. I got there promptly at 8am only to wait outside in my car until Sherie was ready...REALLY. Then she called me in and locked the door behind me. She complained about putting my dogs cone on (he had a small cut we didn't want to get worse) and how normally she charges extra, she demanded I pay her $10 before I could get my dog. Then she charged me more the quote I was given verbally (of course she was no paperwork because she is not an honest business). I was freighted locked in her office and all I wanted was to get my dog. I honestly think she hates dogs. PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR DOGS THERE. YOU WILL REGREAT IT!!!!!! Don’t be fooled by the cheap price, you get what you pay for!!! Next I will be contacting the better business bureau and I will do everything I can to make sure she gets her license removed. Prairie Farm Kennel is a wonderful place to leave my dog & cat. We were gone for 2 weeks, & they really wanted to stay some more. The dog, a big german shepherd, loved the 3 acres to run & play everyday. The cat had been held & rocked in a rocking chair everyday, what a treat for her. The indoor kennels are heated & air conditioned, very comfortable. Wonderful place, we have been there many times in the past 4 years & will continue to trust their personal care of our best friends. Pros: Clean, wonderful care of each pet, heated & air conditioned. Lovely staff. Cons: do not find any. more
