We were customers for 4 ½ years and spent between $13,000 and $15,000. We decided to end our contracts based on THEIR cancellation policy. We paid all of our contracts in full when we signed them, and Power Kix owed us money.
Long story short we went to court, and won. They still did not give us our refund. We had to file to garnish their wages to get our money. We also received a very unprofessional letter. We paid for all of the instruction that our family received plus a $869.48 cancellation fee.
I’m not sure why Power Kix has such “animosity” towards us as they stated in their letter. All of this was based on THEIR legal contract. Their correspondence was very unprofessional and disrespectful. As they mention in the letter, now the contracts have been rewritten “so future parents who spend years here won’t be allowed to ‘just change their minds’,” tells a lot of the mindset of the Power Kix management team. Not to mention the comment in the letter, “ … you left nothing here, but a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.” They seem to have forgotten that we PAID them and between $13,000 and $15,000. It must be nice to be able to consider that kind of money as “nothing”.
No one deserves to be spoken to and disrespected in the way that Power Kix did to us, a good customer. After all, they had no problem with us as customers each time we handed them our credit card. I am sorry for giving them my patronage.
Don’t go to Power Kix. Your efforts will be over looked, your dedication unnoticed, your loyalty not returned, and if you decide to change your mind… Well I guess you can’t.
