Been at Portofino for 11 yrs now. The marina has undergone many improvements since hurricane IKE. The east clubhouse has been completely redone and all the concrete floating docks have been re-conditioned. Also, the marina is currently undergoing dredging and should be completed soon. This is a very friendly place and somewhat smaller then most marinas w/ 212 slips. The pool is very nice and the view of the channel is excellent. Access to the bay is second only to the Kemah Marina. It also has gated access, on-site management, head pump-out, barbecue pits, and the best viewing for the annual boat parade. I highly recommend this marina.
