Portfolio Salon

Portfolio is by far the best salon that I have ever been to. I have been going there for several years and have recommended it to many co-workers and family. I have yet to meet someone that isn't totally satisfied with the experience that they have had at Portfolio. I have received many "Thank Yous" for recommending a salon that has an amazing atmosphere, competent stylists that care about their job and work to make your experience totally pleasant and offer all of this at a pretty affordable price. I have made the mistake of trying other salons to save a few dollars or based on the recommendation of friends but I always come back to Portfolio for a better cut or to have what was done fixed. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Elise and highly recommend seeing her. Aside from being extremely polite, sweet and knowledgeable about what she does, she takes the time to evaluate your hair, give you her opinion and explain what she will be doing during your visit. She has never given me a bad cut and has honestly taken her time to work with me and ensure that I leave totally satisfied. Based on the recommendation of others that have visited Portfolio, there is not a bad stylist in the salon. If you haven't given Portfolio a chance, go for your next cut. I have found my new hair salon along with a great stylist . Lauren did a fabulous job coloring, highlighting and cutting my hair. She truly listened to what I told her I wanted, then she made it happen.The entire staff was welcoming even on a busy Saturday. I can't say enough about the phenomenal job Lauren did, so if you are looking for an excellent stylist give Lauren a try! more

I had been avoiding a hair cut for quite a while before a friend told me about Portfolio Salon.I am growing my hair out and was really nervous about who I could trust.I decided to take a risk and made an appointment with Elise. She will not disappoint! She is incredibly patient and kind. She took the time to weigh different ideas and styles with me. In the end she barely nipped the ends of my hair and yet I had so much shape! She also did gorgeous and thorough highlights. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The salon itself is clean and sophisticated.The staff is friendly and the services are worth the money! more

When I first came in the salon they made me feel like I was at home. Bien and her staff asked me if I needed anything to drink, and she did a great job on my hair. We always talked about what we are going to do to my hair before she ever did it. So if you have no been to Portfolio Salon before you should go and try it out. Great experiences are relived through words. I had a great experience at Portfolio Salon and most importantly, I love my stylist! There was a defined rapport with her as we delved into deep conversation and just expressing her passion for the ‘art.’ Her work was phenomenal and just gave me the feeling that I’ve never felt so beautiful. The staff is wonderful and know what they're doing. After every haircut I always feel refresh and happy. The owner cuts my hair she knows what hairstyle looks good on me. I'm sad that I haven't been back in awhile, but I'm planning to come back soon. I've also worked there before and I've never had a problem when I was working there. I have been seeing Bien since they opened and she always knows what would look best on me. She is always up on all the hot new hair ideas whether it's for a cut and style... and there is no question she is the best color specialist out there! That girl knows her color and does it perfectly every time. I would highly recommend Portfolio Salon to everyone and I do because so many people comment on how great my hair looks, so it's easy to spread the word! I love this place! From the moment I walk in I feel pampered! I get helped and called by name which shows great hospitality! I then go and sit in a comfy leather couch, not some corner where I am ignored in most salons! Every stylist is so sweet and awesome at there job! Just watching them cut and color hair is like watching an artist create a masterpiece! These ladies are amazing at what they do and everytime I go I never break my wallet and I come out feeling so spoiled to have gotten the treatment of Portfolio Salon! I have never found a hairdresser that I wanted to return to before I met Teresa Moore at Portfolio. She listens and has such skill that I followed her from another salon, she's THAT good! I have been going to salons for years and I have never found a salon like this one. From the minute I walked in I was given personal one on one treatment with a stylist to meet all my styling needs. My hair was actually done by the owner Bien. Let me tell you she knows her stuff when it comes to color and styling. She always knows what looks good on you and what won't. The atmosphere of the salon is very relaxed and modern. You can not go wrong with place. If you need your hair done or colored ask for Bien she will take care of you. I was looking for a good salon for awhile and just happened to pass by Portfolio on the way to the mall. I decided to give them a try. The experience I had there exceeded my expectation! The staff there are all very friendly. My stylist did a wonderful job on my cut and color! She asked and listened to what I wanted and she also put her suggestions in. I saw that one of the stylist was running behind and the other stylists was more than delighted to help her out! They all work as a team! I will have to give this salon an A++! They are awesome and you should give them a try! I will definitely be returning. more

I had the worst haircut experience of my entire life! I brought a picture of the hair style I wanted. When I saw that the stylist had messed up my hair quite bad, I asked for help. A second stylist tried to do some damage control, but it was too late and they could not put some of my hair back... When I complained, the manager got really mad at me and he called the police!!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from that salon and its crazy manager! more

I wouldn't recommend this salon to my worst enemy!! They make you feel sooooo uncomfortable. I asked for the owner because I had seen her myspace page and wanted her to cut my hair. She pushed me off to some blonde woman (i cant remember her name) and she did a horrible job on my hair. I came to find out the owner doesn't know how to cut OR dye hair!! she just passes everything to this one girl who works for her. The girl seemed very stressed and maybe that was why she didn't do a fabulous job on my hair. The owner was very pushy and extremely rude! Her kid was running around like a wild animal... They have a nice salon other than that, but God forbid you drip on her expensive Italian leather chairs!! They tell you to write a good report for them on here. Absolutely not!!!!! I had a great first experience at Portfolio! The salon is well lit and spacious. I especially loved the massaging shampoo chair. What a relaxing and revitalizing experience! I went there for a haircult with Anjelica because I knew her from another salon where she previously worked. She always does a fabulous job with my curly hair. She's always willing to take the time to listen to me and give me advice on new ways to style my hair. There are plenty of wonderful product s to choose from as well. i have been to salon after salon trying to find a place that actually gives me what i want! I FOUND IT.. portfolio salon is like wow amazing ... Courtney S there cuts my hair exactly how i want her to and she also does a phenomenal job with color! NEVER have i ever gotten so many compliments on my hair! i couldnt have been happier.. she knew exanctly what i wanted and i came out perfect! Also the salon is a great atmosphere - very retro i absolutely love what they have done to it... 110 percent satisfied!! more

I love this salon!!! My two teenage girls and I followed Raven and Courtney to this salon. The owners are amazing, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The complete staff is unbelievably talented.
