Had an old pump motor needing some TLC. After calling various places I came across Pool Mart. I looked at several very positive reviews and decided to try them out. Best decision I have made in a while. Chris is the man. He replaced the bearings and seals while I waited. Great expertise and know how. He is easy to talk to and gave me so many good tips on how to keep my pool equipment running smooth. I live in Stockton, so when my 80 year old father called from Fresno to tell me his pool pump had ""just quit"", I had no idea who to call, so relied upon the reviews of Pool Mart customers and contacted Chris at Pool Mart. Within 24 hours Chris had picked up the pump (along with a pool sweep which Dad told him had been ""acting up""), fixed, returned and installed both of them. Talk about wonderful and professional service - and he saved me quite a bit of money by repairing, instead of replacing. But best of all, was that my dad was very satisfied and happy (which, as those of you with elderly parents know, is sometimes difficult to achieve). Had ordered impeller from Leslie Pool 3/12/10. Called 3/17/10 told part would be received in 7 business days. Called Leslie Pool 3/22/10 and told by service representative ""He was too busy to help me."" Called Pool Mart and ordered impeller 3/22/09 and had it 3/23/10. I'm a skeptic and I never write reviews. I took the time to sign up for this just so I could give Chris and this store a well-deserved pat on the back. I have been going to this store for 9 years, and I won't go anywhere else now. Chris has saved me big money and earned my trust. I have been a Pool mart customer for 12 years, Chris is the most customer service oriented owner I have seen in any business. He will do what ever it takes to get you up and running for as little $$ as possible. He has given me parts for free and has fixed my pool sweep for nothing. Although prices are only competative, and not always the lowest on all items, this place is still my first choice for pool supplies, equipment and supplies. The owner, Chris, is a great source of free advice, he will spend as long as it takes to help with any pool related problem, he'll loan tools and equipment FOR FREE, he often supplies small parts and repairs FOR FREE, and he'll take back broken or surplus equipment for a full refund sometimes even after a year or two.
