When's the last time a company(let alone a plumber) made your day? I work in the customer service industry(banking strongly focused on customer service) I have high standards for what I consider customer service. I was put in contact with them via my home warranty company. The representatives were very knowledgeable about what the home warranty would cover and what it would not. They were more helpful than my home warranty customer service. I needed a stack replaced in the center of my house. A very expensive job without the warranty. They came to do the initial inspection and fixed a leaking toilet while they were there(wax ring). They were coming back and didn't demand payment of my deductible up front which was a nice act of good faith. They didn't show a greediness to get my money. Of course they were going to get it, just nice for them to start the work on my word. Different, yes. The reason they made my day? No. There was a bit of a miss-communication that would have ended up costing me an additional $400. I really blame my warranty coverage for this more than Poillucci Plumbing. It was a bit of a surprise when the Plumber told me of this. He did an amazing job of really working it out with me. This is how he made my day. He could've brushed it off and just said it is what it is. This obviously was not his call. He contacted the owner of the company for me who seemingly understood the situation and did make my day. Obviously, customer service at this company starts from the top down. I will be recommending them to anyone that asks and when I need service again(house was built in 1872, so it'll probably be soon) I know who to call. more

I had the pleasure of dealing with Poillucci Plumbing this morning when my drain become completely plugged. Thankfully, he worked and worked and worked at it to try to avoid us having to remove the tile floor to snake the larger drain pipe in the basement. After snaking the drain from multiple locations, multiple times, and using a whole bottle of something down right nasty he freed the drain up all at a minimal expense to me ($75 for the home warranty call). Honestly, I could not have had a better experience with this company...true professionals. Thank you, Poillucci Plumbing! more
