Poe Springs, although smaller than other neighboring springs, is a very nice area to experience the natural beauty of florida. The waters are greenish blue. The spring features a natural underwater cave, and you will experience a taste of the wild life in the area.
Be sure to bring bug repellent as around the springs is heavily wooded. Poe springs offers a variety of water play, for a small fee. I have noticed that their fees seem to be less expensive than the other neigboring Springs. Tubing and canoe rentals can be found.
There is area for picnic, volley ball, camping, etc. Its a very nice place to take your family away from the tourist traps that florida is very well known for. Be sure to bring a camera, you will experience such beautiful nature that you will want to remember this experience.
