the plum tree restaurant in kingsport is absolutly the best in town as far as chinese quisine goes. winner of almost 10 best chinese food awards.the food is fresh( not like most buffet chinese places where the food is left on the bar all day long ) there is no buffet at plum tree a plus for myself. if you want real chinese food at reasonable prices and great atmosphere ( with soothing sounds of running water at the waterfall bridge, ) and great owners who genuinly care about their customers, go to plum tree. Pros: great chinese food, good service, nice enviroment more

Colonial Heights Chinese food 7/8/2004

Plum tree has very nice decorations with running fountain and bridge. I used to eat their often but it's hard to tell when you get good food and when you won't. They have many cooks since the owners don't hang around the kitchen. They have been having a hard time and are putting in a buffett, but they really are a menu restaurant. I mostly ate their because of the convenience but it is still nice. Pros: good food, adequate parking Cons: , not busy more
