I really was hoping this place would have good Mexican food.
The rice was mediocre and it was barely warm when it was served. My cheese enchilada was ok. My beef taco was ok. My husband had chicken enchiladas and he said he didn't care for them nor his beans or rice. And his coke was completely flat.
We got 2 different kinds of salsa, which we liked the traditional salsa.
Service was slow, I think it was because they were short staffed, but they were friendly.
The atmosphere I thought was nice.
Maybe I'm used to really great Tex-Mex being from Texas. I was just hoping for good, robust flavors, really cheesy enchiladas with a flavorful red sauce smothering them. But the flavors were just the opposite, nothing special to talk about.
