Platz Animal Hospital staff offer EXACTLY what I need in a vet: They know their stuff and they care about animals. No matter which cat I take to an appointment, their personal welcome makes me feel like ""MY pet is their favorite patient."" However, a little observation proves that they love EVERY pet that way. They expertly care for the physical needs of the animal as well as the emotional needs of the owner. With previous pets I went to other vets that were clearly about the business of making money. At Platz, my pets' well-being is the #1 priority. I am happy with any of the veterinarians there, because they are all knowledgable and caring. From the vet-techs to the receptionists -- everyone is kind, caring, and understanding. When my older cat had a health issue, I made the mistake of reading about it on-line...I was horrified and scared to death by the grim prognosis. But under the care of Platz Animal Hospital he has continued to do wonderfully for years. Platz provides the best care...anywhere! Pros: Expert knowledge & personal affection for EVERY animal. I have taken my dog to Platz for almost two years now, and every time I leave feeling impressed and reassured. I see Dr. Ticcony (the newest vet on the team), and I have been so pleased with him. He always returns phone calls promptly and answers every question I have with patience and concern. He is also very playful and patient with my dog (who is a handful sometimes!) and has given me so many great suggestions about dog care/training.
