Plamann Park has everything. There are all of the traditional park things that you think of, such as swings and slides. There is also a pavilion that can be rented all year round. The pavilion is located right next to baseball diamonds. They also have a winter sledding hill that is great fun and they flood an area in the winter for ice skating on. They also have a small petting type of zoo. It's small and there are not a lot of animals, but the little kids enjoy it. They also have disc golf for the older people. You need to supply your own discs. There is also hiking available and horesehoe pits and volleyball. There isn't much that isn't at this park. more

Family fun for all seasons 9/3/2005

Plamann Park is a wonderful place to take the entire family. They have frisbee golf, a swimming, a zoo and normal park and picnic areas. The frisbee golf is free, but you have to supply your own frisbees. The zoo is also free, but it's not very big and not too exciting. You are not able to feed the animals. It's a nice zoo for the small kids. The swimming is not free, but not real expensive. They also have winter activities at the park. They have a large hill for sledding in the winter and they also have outdoor ice skating. Both the sledding and ice skating are free (you have to bring your own supplies). They also have a pavilion that you can rent for parties. more

This park is full of a lot of good things for a family or anyone to do. They have a beach so you can swim in or you can also just sit by the water with your feet in there. Frisbee golf is also available so that you can have something to play if you get bored. there is also a petting zoo so the kids can see animals and have a chance to even touch them or pet them. they have a prairie area, a wooded area, and a bunch of BBQ areas to enjoy, there is a bunch of baseball diamonds so if you have enough people you can play a good game of baseball. they have a couple of soccer fields so you can also play soccer if you want or just run on the field. it is so full of things to do that it is nearly impossible to do it all in one day. more

This park is full of a lot of good things for a family to do. They have a beach to swim at or just sit by the water. something for everyone 8/7/2005

Plamann Park is a huge park covering many acres of land. They have wooded areas for hiking, several shelters available to rent for gatherings, and several ball diamonds. They have an area set up for frisbee golf, hills for sledding in the winter, a man-made lake for swimming, and several playground areas throughout the park. There is a large shelter with a fireplace up the middle to warm up after an ice skating adventure. There is a children's farm at one end of the park open from May to September, with no admission charge. The surroundings are beautiful, great for picnics, family reunions, or just to get away for a while. There is something for everyone in the family, year round. more

Large park with great walking areas 6/29/2005

This park is chucked full of good things to do. They have a beach, Frisbee golf, petting zoo, prairie area, wooded area, BBQ areas, baseball diamonds, soccer fields. It really has everything to keep a family happy for the day. Our family tries to go to this park a couple times a month. Our children love it. more
