I'm form Chicago. This is the best pizza I have ever had. I've had Pizzeria Uno in Chicago & Milwaukee many times. This Uno in Platteville is not associated, and is FAR better....

Ignore the bad review. This person is confusing the Platteville "Uno's Pizza" with the chain, "Pizzeria Uno". If you like chain food and relish fine cuisine like Dennys and TGIF you won't like this incredible authentic deep dish pizza made by people who have been making deep dish pizza long before there even was an Uno's chain. This is the real deal and you won't find better. I live 4 hours away from Platteville and still make the trek...there simply isn't a better deep dish anywhere. more

Pizzaria Uno 6/29/2005

Extremely good Chicago style pizza. Especially good deep dish with a sweeter than average sauce with stewed tomatoes and a secret ingredient. Families can play board games at the table and drink fantastic bottled root beer waiting for their main dish. Dining room can be crowded and somewhat claustrophobic. PROS: excellent food, fun atmosphere CONS: crowded, seating could be better more

  • Pizzeria Uno's Chicago Bar & Grill created the Original Deep Dish Pizza, also known as 'Chicago-style' pizza. This pizza is not simply topped, it's built like a pie. The crust is rich and golden brown, filled with fresh vegetables, cheeses and meats. They also offer a diverse menu including sandwiches, appetizers, gourmet thin crust pizza, soups/salads, pasta, specialties and desserts, as well as full bar service. Not required.
