After a long drive to the Dells, I called Pizza Ranch for delivery. I gave the address of our condo and placed our order. The employee told me it would take about an hour for our food to arrive. It never came.
I called the following day and spoke with a supervisor. She was aware that our food had not been delivered and made no apologies initially.
The employee who confirmed that our condo was in the company?s delivery range did not take down my phone number. When she realized we were out of range, she couldn?t call and thus decided to not fulfill the order we placed.
During the conversation with this supervisor, I pointed out that it was the responsibility of Pizza Ranch and its employees to know the delivery range and take complete orders ? phone numbers included. It is also their responsibility to fulfill these orders. In this case, though we were out of delivery range, because the employee did not take down my complete information and had no way of explaining her error, the restaurant should have made the exception to deliver the food.
The Pizza Ranch supervisor agreed that the responsibility was theirs but made no attempt to correct the situation.
Pros: TBD
Cons: Didn't deliver food.
