Pioneer Valley Hospital

Dear Staff at Pioneer Valley Hospital.\r \r \r I wish I could remember all of your names. including the Doctor who treated me.\r \r But I spent 3 days with you on the 3rd floor. Know one likes being laid up in a room that is not there own! But I from the bottom to the top of my unhealthy lungs, want you to know if you worked with me on these days, Wed Feb 12th thru Feb 14th. I want to let you know how I appreciate all the caring you gave me, I never felt rushed, I had all my questions answered, And I feel you all went beyond and over, The Doctor made sure all necessary test were done, to rule out the demons, ""Thank you"" The Nurses to the respiratory team, to the vampires that were thirsty for the vile's of blood. \r \r \r My visit was as pleasant as it could be , even though I didn't want to be there. \r \r Thank you all again.\r \r \r And a HUGE kudo's to whoever took my order for my food from the cafeteria , You all made it easy and to toss a valentine on my tray on my last day, was awesome!!! \r \r I feel you all as different entities in the same work place. \r Great TEAM WORK!!!\r more

this has got to be the worst hospital ever the er drs act like you are bothering them when you need to see them and they treat you like crap don't care about the patient they are rude and just plain horrible the only reason I went was its the closest to where I live never again more

janet g\r \r this is not a good hospital please do not go or recamend anyone here it you are taken here by ambulas tell them no not to take you there my aunt was there and they did a bad job they leave there pills lying around the nurses leave needle caps and glove throw on the floor. i would not sent my worst enemy there bad place to go more

The only reason I gave this hospital 1 star is because I had to. It deserves nothing! I will never ever go back to this hospital!! My husband went in for same day surgery and we ended up sitting in pre-op for 7 HOURS!! The nurses on the same day surgery floor all left for the day at 3...we were the only ones on that floor! What if something would have happened? A nurse didn't return for us for 2 hours! Then a nurse wrote the wrong info on the consent form. My husband has testicular cancer and had to have ONE testicle removed...the consent form said they were removing BOTH! If my husband had not of caught it noone would have!! That is a HUGE mistake. After surgery the doctor never came and talked to me to tell me how things went.. he went home! Then the nurses forgot give us release papers and was just pushing us out the door with no after treatment info, release papers or anything!! That just skims over our experience. There was alot more things. This place is ridiculous! more

worst er in the salt lake valley! the er doctors are rude and treat you like a disease and your opinion does not matter. the worst experiance i have ever had at any hospital and i have been to a few, and seriously if i did not live like a minute away i would not go at all. more

I've been here many times, simply because it's so close to where I live. Easily the worst hospital in the state. I have a lot of medical problems, so I've been in hospitals too many times.. The care here is awful, the doctors do not care. They do not listen to your opinion or what you want/feel, and they treat you like a disease. .. Nice facility, though. more

I was barely pregnant, at about a month. I have a history with my kids of not showing on a test until I am at least 6 weeks, or two to two and a half weeks late. I was just under two when I started having severe bleeding and cramps, and so went to pioneer. I was admitted and told the nurse I was almost two weeks late with full pregnancy symptoms, had a child so knew what it felt like, and woke up with spotting that turned to heavy bleeding, contractions, and severe vomiting through the morning. I also told her I would need a blood test to confirm, since I never showed so early on tests before. She refused, made me take a urine test, which came out negative like I told her I would. She then openly ridiculed me, told me I was wasting her time, told the doctor loudly in the hall that I was another ""crazy wanting a baby with a period."" The doctor then came in and treated me as such, told me I needed to leave and I wouldn't be charged with the visit if I left right then. The moment I left the hospital the contractions moved to every five minutes. I went through a full miscarriage on my own because I was too terrified to go to another hospital. Three days later a test came out positive. Two days after that it was negative again. I will never go to this hospital again. To the nurse who laughed at me and decided to sweep in halfway through the doctor's ""talk with me"" and look at the test with a cheerful ""Nope, still not pregnant!"", you are a horrible human being. I hope you read this and realize the pain you caused that day. Pros: Close to my home at one point, admission staff kind enough. Cons: Cruel medical staff, incompetent. more
