My family and I had a great time on their 22? pontoon boat, we paid $340 total for 4 hours, there were 10 of us total in our group, 7 adults and 3 kids, the boat was in great condition and there was plenty of room for all of us, the boat had a top speed of about 25mph, there was lots of room for our fishing poles and ice chest. Most of us went swimming off the boat and they even gave us lifejackets for the kids and for any of the adults who wanted one. Just a little warning the lake does have a current and don?t even think about going for a swim unless you have a lifejacket on or are a good swimmer, I have In ground swimming pool and have been swimming all my life and just going 10ft in the lake will take your breath away, the kids MUST wear lifejackets if going swimming. Pros: Nice Boat, Customer Service Cons: Took a little time waiting to check us out more

Deceitful Business Practice, Unfriendly Customer Service 8/27/2007

12 individuals (including myself) rented a 4-hour pontoon boat ride at Big Bear Lake for $360. Prior to leaving dock, an employee showed us the boat, controls, and existing damages/dents on the boat. He showed us one dent on the back right-side of the boat and marked it on his paper. He said that the boat is brand new. I argued that it could not be new. I told him that there was obvious wear and tear around the boat. He said that those small dents are okay. They know about them. He wanted us to look for major damages/dents. I ask him to put down dents throughout on his paper (I actually wrote it when he left his clipboard on a seat to show me the propeller.), but he scratched it off. He also told me the propeller was brand new, and I also disagreed. I said that the boat was in fair to good condition. To make a long story short, because of bad weather condition, we came back two hours early. Before even docking, Katie (manager) came out to our boat and pointed straight at a dent in the front of the boat. She asked us what we collide into and that it cost $1000 to repair. We were shocked. Several people, including myself, argued with her over the matter. Because it was getting louder and other customers were around, she said in a demeaning and unprofessional manner, ?get your stuff and get out of here. What are you (referring to us) complaining about, I?m letting you leave without paying for this dent?? So, we left.
