Pieceful Gathering is a small independent quilt shop located in Fox River Grove, Illinois, about an hour Northwest of Chicago. We are a full service quilt shop with a large selection of quilt shop quality cotton, quilting supplies, books, and patterns. We offer lots of classes and clubs for all levels of quilters, and we even have a Gammill Longarm quilting machine on-site and two quilters to quilt your tops for you! Our fabric specialty is reproduction fabrics - mainly 1800's, including the popular Civil War era prints, and early 1900's - those cute 30's prints. Our fabrics come from manufacturers such as Moda, Marcus Brothers, Windham and Andover. Our staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and we are always ready to help you choose your fabrics or answer any questions you have. Our goal is to make Pieceful Gathering your home away from home - a place to gather with your fellow quilters and share the passion. To that end, our classroom is available for you to use whenever we don't have a class scheduled. Many of our customers like to come over and use our large tables for pinning their quilts, or they come to sew in pieces in a place where they can spread out a little. We have three Bernina machines available for our customers to use in the classroom, as well - just call ahead to check availability. For our online customers, we are working on a lot of ideas for sharing the fun with you. We now have online Block-of-the-Month projects available, along with a variety of kits and bundles to fill your quilting needs.
