This is our favorite Italian restaurant in the city -- if not our favorite restaurant period. The food is exceptional, affordable and fresh. The dining room is a tight, informal setting but buzzes with excitement from the energetic owner -- Renato. Call ahead for a table because it gets crowded very quickly on weekend evenings. Even with a reservation, be prepared to wait a while for a table -- patrons tend to linger a while to enjoy the excitement of the evening. The desserts are also great -- many flown in from Italy daily.
