This is my third bad experience (I know, fool me once...) and I thought it was time for a review. I also today got insider information that would make you want to go somewhere else. I've had 3 different surgeries at Panorama with great results (the doctors are top notch) but the PT offered downstairs is terrible. They are not owned by Panorama and are operated independently (more on that later). The therapists are very young right out of school and inexperienced. This is because they do not want to pay more experienced PT's good enough money to keep them. I insisted each time to not treat my like every other patient and give me the basic protocol but to judge my protocol on my abilities, strengths and weaknesses on an individual basis. They then proceed to treat me like any other 80 year old even though I am extremely fit. They then gave me exercises that I could get from the internet then stick me on a table with an electric stim unit and a bag of ice. You look around and there are a dozen other tables with someone doing the same thing. This way the PT can go on to another person and an unlicensed assistant can check on you. This is the revolving door method and if you check the charges to your insurance company you will be shocked. They even charge you for the ice!
Now, what I have heard. The doctors from Panorama are going to buy the unit and make it part of Panorama. Patients are going to have a 20 minute slot with the licensed PT and the rest of the time must be spent with an assistant. A lot of experienced PT's will be fired and just out of school types will be employed. They know they have a captive audience because of the location and a gold mine.
Do yourself a favor since your insurance doesn't care and find you an older experienced therapist in a smaller office and get the personalized care that you deserve. Otherwise, look up the exercises on the web, do them yourself and use your own ice.

Cons: basic PT by very young therapist, looking for dollars
