For those who are too intimidated to walk into a Vietnamese restaurant because you don't know what to order, Pho So 1 is the place for you. The clientele is very multi-ethnic, so you're not going to stand out. Pretty much anything on the menu is good, but I would recommend starting out with the plain noodles and beef (Tai Nam, #16 on their menu) and if that works for you, work your way up to #1 (which has tripe in it as well). Don't forget to add on a Durian shake, and you're set! Dinner for two comes in at a very affordable $14-16 (if you take out).
Pros: Multicultural Atmosphere, great pho, great prices
