BEWARE of this ripoff business. Phil's Transmissions has several judgments against the company and has operated without a business license in Petersburg at 2803 County Drive. His company has been closed down and he is now opening up in another location in Colonial Heights to continue ripping people off. He has left Petersburg without having to pay any of the people he has left financially broke and without a working vehicle. BEWARE OF ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH PHIL'S TRANSMISSIONS. Hell Yea i totally agree Phils Transmisson is worthless and a waste of time...i DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to go to this dump of a shop...you take the car in and soon as his redneck ass gets the money it'll take him forever to fix the truck and then wanna have excuses everytime you call...notice i had to call cause this bastard will go weeks at a time and dont say shit and let you know whats going on...and how bout i got the truck fixed the first time and this motherf'er aint do shit to the transmission but tampered with it and claimed he fixed it...soon as i drove it off damn lot it was doing the same exact thing from before...now tell me how another tranny is gonna be doing samething if its supposedly fixed...sound like BS to me...and this shows his dumbass didnt even test drive the car after ""work"" was done...on whole secretary comment hell yea she is just like him full of shit...but i would fill her with my dick thats for sure she can get stuck...lol shit i need to get something free out that camp...let me end by saying F PHILS TRANSMISSION AND ANYONE WHO WORKS AND ASSOCIATES WITH THEM THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!! Took vehicle to have engine replaced in May 2009. Owner was very pleasant to deal with until he had money for repair. Problems continually exist from having engine repaired. Take it in for one thing and another thing is broken! Got treated like a piece of trash from owner and especially so from secretary! When I called the last time it was because when he put my radiator back in the car from installing the engine he put the fans in wrong and they were hitting the bottom of the radiator which in turn caused my radiator to develop a hole and leak. Of couse he denied he had anything to do with it so I told him I would check the price of the repair and call him back. When I did I got alled a Fn N***** by secretary and was hung up on because I said they were going to pay formy dam car. $2300 for epair in June 09 and still cant drive car. If you have a car in need of repair PLEASE do not go to this shop! Cons: Terrible work and a racist after money is in hand! more
