IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONE DON'T SEND TO PETERSON'S 10/4/2010

I was a nurse at Petersons for 2 yrs and that was the worst place I ever worked. The staff was always out front smoking before people came in door. Staff is grouchy, rude, and very lazy. I have come on shift and found other nurses sleeping or watching TV in main lobby. Also, the facility is filthy not just the drug addicts the DON hires, but Dirty nonpainted walls, filthy toilets and showers. I came on shift once and found a pile of feces in shower from another shift. The rooms are never painted when a resident moves or passes, furniture is never cleaned. Diets are never maintained by dietary. The adminstrator is pocketing peoples money. THE STATE NEEDS TO COME AND SHUT THEM DOWN. more

your loved one is doomed!! 10/14/2008

DO NOT take your loved one to this facility! I worked there for 3 mths and have never been so appauled before in my life. Literally had feces on the walls, trash bins, toilets, and showers. Trash cans needed to be taken out, full of waste for long periods. Other CNA's were not nice. Vial tempers towards other co-workers, and residents. Nurses smoked their life away in the INSIDE smoke room. No nursing help...EVER. Little help, long day's..little pay. I had to leave, I didn't want associated with it. OSHA needs a trip to see this circus act. Residents are always grumpy, and not happy. Can't keep help. This is a place I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. more
