Following is the text of a complaint I sent to the FTC regarding Mr. Peterson, who is associated with Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago, IL 60707:\r

On or about March 15, 2008, I met with Douglas Peterson at Salerno's Galewood Chapels to price a funeral for my father, who had died the night before. He quoted an attractive price, but when he learned that I might purchase a casket elsewhere, he pointed to the statement on his price list ""These packages are available only to families that purchase a casket from the funeral home ..."" Otherwise, the itemized prices on his price list would apply, which would amount to almost twice what he had earlier quoted. I had the funeral elsewhere.\r

I believe that this tie-in effectively constitutes an illegal fee for providing a casket bought elsewhere. Please advise.\r
