prices are ok but not great, this store was not easy to navigate or get questions answered(didn't know where to go to ask) finding things was difficult, not a store i could run in...

Grooming 8/16/2012

Petco Ramsey has by far one of the nicest group of employees. That being said Grooming is an exception. While most of the people that work there are very nice, the manager is the sweetest girl, the others equally as nice.. with the exception of that Dana woman, its been months since I have had my dog there and I can not help but still boil at the thought of her. I came a few minutes early to pick up some dog food, this is when I saw her practically CHOCKING my dog, I have a yorkie ie. a small dog. I was in utter shock, I went in got my reciept, paid and got my dog and drove straight to the vet, only to notice redness (which later turned into bruising.) No animal should have to be put through this woman, I now go to someone else, somewhere else.\r \r I never write bad reviews. This is something that needs to be done, I CANT BELIEVE they let this woman work there. \r \r BEWARE.. more

Good store, great groomer (Dana) 11/16/2010

DANA AT PETCO RAMSEY GROOMING IS THE BEST AT WHAT SHE DOES!!! My wife and I tried several groomers at different pet salons (both chain and independent) for our cocapoo before finding Dana at Petco. At best, the others did a half-descent job, at worst they butchered his coat and left him looking like a homeless castaway dog. Dana has always done an impeccable job, and we keep coming back to her for that reason. She listened to my wife tell her exactly how she wants our dog to be groomed, and did exactly what we asked. She even put notes in the file so she can repeat it every time without having to hear it again (which is great for me, since I?m the one who has to drop-off and pickup the dog). The grooming prices are very reasonable, and given the quality they?re a great value.\r \r The store itself is nice enough; the staff is friendly, helpful, and my dogs enjoy coming along with me. Not my first choice 4/15/2007

I go here about twice a year, maybe. They don't sell my type of pet food, since it's a national chain. The staff is not always helpful. The place usually has debris hanging around. The prices are okay except for the accessories, they are marked up too much. It's nice that they allow adoption groups to use their store. That's the only reason why I'd give it 3 stars. more

I LOVE THIS STORE. I ENJOY COMING TO THE STORE WITH MY DOG. EVEN MY PET KNOWS HE GET THE BEST TREATMENT OF THE STORE. THEY HAVE THE FINEST FOOD ANY BREEDS. THE WORKERS ARE FRIENDLY. THEY MAKE YOU FILL LIKE YOU ARE HOME. PROS: IT IS A JOY TO GO TO PETCO CONS: NONE more

Petco Animal Supplies 6/21/2005

Being the proud owner of multiple dogs and a Wildlife Rescuer I spend a lot of time and money in pet stores. Its close, convenient and a fun place to take my guys for a meet and greet. Its always been a good source for me whether it was for general food items, toys or wildife formula. Recently its been upgraded. They have now added a fantastic boutique. It has a wonderful selection of non essential bling for your dog or cat. Gorgeous leopard beds, dazzling maribou collars, rhinestone initials and very posh carriers are beautifully displayed in the front of the store. Their prices are competitve, the staff is helpful and the store is clean. I have no complaints about Petco.. PROS: Convenient. Nice quality merchandise CONS: None more

Needs help 5/23/2005

prices are ok but not great, this store was not easy to navigate or get questions answered(didn't know where to go to ask) finding things was difficult, not a store i could run in, get what i was looking for without searching and get out in a timely fashion, no customer service desk, the only employees visable were the cashiers and both had lines(on a weekday afternoon)dog treat bar was a mess as well as some other places as well more
