I will never deal with Perro's again!! 4/4/2012

I purchased a 2003 Lexus GX470 from them in Dec 2011 and they showed me a car fax and said i could look at it but not take it with me or make a copy.I paid 22,000. for the truck and they lied and said it cost 85,000. new.(NOT TRUE). The next day the radiator went so i returned it for repairs. When i got it home the radiator was not installed right with the bolts never installed and the radiator sitting out of the rubber mounts on the bottom. I fixed it myself due to the quality of the work they did.The truck has been broken down since the warranty ended due to all four control arms needing to be replaced, the truck was not worth the money and they knew it. My niece also purchased a car from them and had an accident with it so she used the Perro's auto body shop and after a year all the paint peeled from the front bumper so she went back to them and Mike told her to worry about something else, THE NERVE OF HIM TO TELL HER THAT AND NOT REPAINT THE CAR! she took it to another shop and they told her that Perro's caused the paint to fail. Her car has had one thing after another go on it and it did not last like they told her it would. They are like money pits on wheels!! We are taking them to small court due to the problems they caused. They do not stand behind the vehicles they sell OR THE WORK THEY DUE. They just want a sale and then good luck and good bye. more

Horrible experience 3/16/2012

In February of 2012, I bought 2 vehicles from Perro's Auto sales in Auburn Ma. One of the vehicles I purchased was for my daughter to go back and forth to JWU in Rhode Island. 33 days after the purchase, my daughter drove home from JWU and the next day, the car wouldn't start BUT It was under the 60day/2500 mile warranty , SO we called the 24 hours service towing (508)-641-8197 which was given to us by Ken, in our warranty folder. Well when we called, Mike answered and told me to file the towing under my insurance company..He wanted me to file a claim and have my insurance pay for it, because he didn't want to pay for a tow from Charlton to Worcester. When I refused he then got belligerent and started saying he wasn't going to fix the car and he didn't care if it was under the warranty... So now my daughter is stuck with a car that won't start and he refuses to fix it... some business man.. I believe I have no choice but to file some complaint against them for repairing the vehicle. ALSO 2 weeks, before my daughters car broke down, I sent my son in to purchase a vehicle from perros.. THE CAR FAILED inspection for TIRES.. all 4 were really worn, MIKE told the tire company to only replace the worst 2 tires..Im so unhappy with the service. I also used a referral for sending my son in, which would entitle me to receive 50.00 and he refused to give me that as well.. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle from this establishment.. Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!! I discourage anyone who is considering purchasing from Perro's...Look elsewhere first!!!! And for the record, I wouldn't have given any stars BUT i had to in order to post... more

Horrible car dealer 3/12/2009

Five months ago, I bought a vehicle from Perro's. It had a 30 day warranty. After driving it for a week or so, the alternator seized up and ruined the serpentine belt. Perro's agreed to replace the alternator but refused to change the belt, which wasn't broken, but it was badly burned and cracked from the friction of the alternator. They had the car in their shop for about four days! After getting it back, I had the vehicle inspected. It FAILED due to headlight, ball joint, steering and a couple other little issues. I brought it back to Perro's. They had the car for about a week and said they made all the repairs. It re-inspected successfully. Yesterday, my wife was about to get on Rt 146 when the ball joint that they had worked on, let go and the wheel fell off. I had the car towed to a repair shop (not Perro's) and was told that the wheel hub assembly, axle and wheel bearing were all badly damaged when the wheel fell off. Obviously the broken ball joints also need to be replaced. Had this happened on the highway, she could have involved in a very serious accident. It will cost a minimum of $1200.00 to make the repairs. I feel that Perro's sales is sleazy and their mechanics are incompetent. I won't bring the car to them for repair and after five months I doubt they're obligated to cover any of the damages to my car anyway, but I CAN discourage anyone in the market for a used car from doing business with them. Hopefully this review turns atleast a few prospective customers away from Perro's. Pros: Cant think of any unless you like lip service Cons: You name it - It was BAD more
