I used Perfection Movers last week for a move from North Bergen NJ. I must say the phone representative Elvis was polite (unfortunately his movers were not) I was given a quote on hours and materials which seemed to be fair, especially since it was a last minute move. Movers arrived 2 hours early, I scheduled the move for 9am but they showed up at 7am??? Having to rush and send my kids to school they said I would be charged for the time the driver and crew arrived.....What happened to 9am?? I got back at around 8am and the driver went over a contract with me had me sign and he began.....I noticed they started to use excessive tape and garment boxes but the driver stated we are professional company we secure all items. Ok so 5 hours later I'm hit with a charge of $1,825.00??? What happened to the $950.00 Elvis told me over the phone and emailed to me?? My move exceeded much higher due to materials as per the driver.....I was put in a position where I either pay or don't receive my personal belongings so the obvious I paid...After one week of unpacking I have found an enormous amount of broken items. Consisting of glass pictures, mirrors, etc...You would think because they overcharged / overused materials the least they can do is not break anything!! I have never been so upset with the lack of carelessness from Perfection Movers....I would just like everyone to know the office was polite, but the workers are a different story and watch their every move they got me but hopefully wont get you!
