Perdition is one of the hottest bars to open in Hells kitchen in 2005. A great cocktail and beer bar that has the feel of a homely bar yet the looks, feel and atmosphere of a cosy upscale lounge. They have a great selection of beers served in the European 20 ounce pint glass. However; if you are into cocktails then you have to try their amazing selection of martinis.....from chocolate to raspberry flavor......you won't be dissapointed-it is impossible to just have one! The owners and staff are friendly, cool and down to earth. They have a great back room for intimate gatherings with friends and a great sound system. Good job guys and welcome to the neighborhood. Best draft in the city 5/9/2005

If you're tired of stale beer, head to Perdition for the best tasting-- and coldest-- draft in the city. This is a great bar in a neighborhood that could really use one. A good place to watch a game or go for drinks on a date as well. more

the only way i can describe this place really is: a cross between a really nice cocktail lounge with such a laid back and down to earth atmosphere, so none of that snottiness that you get with lounges. the owners and staff are great, they make you feel sooo welcome. you'll see them both behind the bar and on the floor chatting to the customers. also a great djon thursday nights which is when i was there!!! ps before i forget, one of the owners made us this great cocktail, crazberry something, check it out! more

Recently a friend recommended 'Perdition,' so I decided to give it a shot last weekend. She had told me the place was really cool, but I was in no way prepared for just how cool and yet classy 'Perdition' would be. So impressed with 'Perdition'was I, that it inspired me to write this review...The moment you walk in, you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought and work into the place. The atmosphere is cool, stylish, laid back, and in no way ordinary. They also make great drinks! The prices are more than reasonable, especially for those of us that don't want to pay $15-20 a drink, just to be in a trendy spot. In short, with it's upscale, yet very down to earth atmosphere, 'Perdition' is a place I will be coming back to regularly, and I live in Brooklyn! more

Found The Perfect Bar! 2/22/2005

My friends and I have finally found the perfect bar! I am so happy this place opened! It's got such a great atmosphere, very classy without the stuffiness. It's got plenty of room, great service and the best drinks. My friend's and I were saying how it is the perfect place to throw a private party, or to just meet a few friends for a a good time. Hell's kitchen needed a place just like this! I live downtown and I think this place is definetley worth the trip up, it's got such a great vibe.... more

loved it! 2/21/2005

i walked by perdition with a friend a few nights ago and we decided to go in for a drink. this place was great! the service was friendly and the drinks were good. my friend loved the selection of beer on tap. the bar is brand new and mordern but not pretentiousness. it's the perfect modern pub. if they served breakfast i'd be there until the morning! more

WE were in Hell's Kitchen and saw the chance for a little hell raisin' of our own. Perdition! Great food, great service and the best looking bartender I have seen in a long time! And this is NY! New Hot Spot 2/20/2005

Just had an excellent time at this new Irish pub. Best pint of Guinness in the city. Great atmosphere with a friendly and very professional staff. Classy..... but not stuffy at all. Looks like Hell's Kitchen has a new hot spot. Looking forward to my next visit. more
