I chose The People Movers because they actually came out to give me an estimate. That was very important to me. They guaranteed that they would not go over the estimate as long as I met the conditions we discussed. I ended up coming a little under it! more

Careful, fast and professional. 5/10/2012

The People Movers were very careful, fast, and professional. They got the job done and made sure everything was the way I liked it. They're willing to go the extra mile. If I wanted something to be arranged a different way, they were willing to do it. The staff was friendly, nice, and talkative too, while still being professional. Even on the other side, in the office, the scheduling person was awesome too. She scheduled us in and made sure she told me everything they would and wouldn't do beforehand. She did all the right things, and made sure to be specific about time when they were going to show up. She confirmed with me a day before and was friendly too. The workers even had suggestions on how I could arrange things in my home, advice on plugs, new homes and all that. They really went the extra mile. more

People Movers are great, they're wonderful. They came in the morning and were very efficient with my time and helpful. I even had them move some of my own stuff in addition to stuff for work. They asked if I needed help or was okay on my own. They were just wonderful, very nice, and very helpful. more

Great service. All my antique's were moved with great care and no damage. 2/17/2012

I have a lot of antique pieces that are large and difficult to move. I was very concerned that these fragile pieces would be broken or damaged. There was no damage to any of my pieces and they really moved everything with easy and professionalism. I did get quotes from other companies but People Movers had the lowest quote. They also moved a tournament sized pool table from my house to my sons. more

Thrilled with People Movers. 2/14/2012

I was thrilled with People Movers. They were a hard working group of guys, and they quickly moved two truck-fulls of my stuff. I finally unpacked this past weekend, and out of everything that got moved, there was only a single broken vase. It was probably just my fault for a lack of packing material. It's amazing that the vase was the only thing broken during the entire move. It wasn't even a valuable vase or anything, so it was not a big deal. The guys were friendly, professional, and very respectful. They asked if I had changed my mind about where I wanted my couch and moved it when I said I did. It was just a long day, and I was already exhausted from the prep-work. I was thrilled to have gone with People Movers and so pleased that it all worked out nicely. more

arrived late, inefficient and inexperienced which resulted in higher fee. 2/2/2012

Movers arrived 1 hour late and took 6 hours to move the mostly boxed 2 bedroom apt. FYI, my previous move one year ago took about 3 hours including packing. The People Movers indicated that the truck was full after loading major furniture and boxes. I myself had to move numerous items including 42" TV, boxes, baby toys, and etc. To their credit, my furniture were handled carefully. Given their inefficiency, I do not recommend this company. RESPONSE FROM The People Movers: We are sorry Mr Kwon was not happy with our service,We at The People Movers strive for the best customer satisfaction. We loaded and unloaded a full 26ft bobtail in only 6 hours with an hour of that being drive time. We did send out experienced movers that other customers in the past have loved. We provided Mr Kwon with a safe quality move and in a reasonable time. However we did reach out to Mr Kwon to discuss his concerns. more

I just like how People Movers took care of the materials. They were very courteous and caring about handling somebody else's materials. They were very honest and I appreciated that. I found People Movers through the Yellow Pages. I was looking at different places, and even though they were a little bit more expensive, I liked that Greg from People Movers came out to give the estimate and look at the stuff. Use them! It's worthwhile! I didn't have any worries while using People Movers. I just felt bad that they had to go up three flights of stairs. They were efficient and organized. The labelled everything and knew where it went. I was very pleased with their service and would use them again! more

Went ABOVE AND BEYOND their call of duty! 9/23/2011

People Movers were on time, and took a lot of care and pride in their work. They definitely have the best in mind for the customer. I wasn't expecting them to blanket wrap and plastic wrap my leather couches. They made sure there was no damage to anything. They were very fast and very honest. When we got to my new house, they noticed that it was newly painted and the floor was nice. People Movers laid down a plastic sheet to protect my floor and lined the walls with cardboard. They had not been previously advised that most of my things would be going upstairs. They were first upset, but the movers worked extremely hard. They said, "No no no it's okay" and they were very patient. In return, we made sure that they were hydrated. The workers at People Movers are very nice guys and are very professional. They did everything as fast as they could and did not invade our privacy, which was nice. I had recommended them to a friend but the pricing didn't work out. However, I have recommended People Movers to other friends of mine! People Movers went above and beyond their call of duty!! Mrs. Mehta more

Overall, a good experience. 8/4/2011

My experience overall with People Movers was okay. I think they did a good job. The process went smoothly as far as getting an estimate and scheduling go. I think the movers did their best, my furniture is big and the apartment I moved to has small doors so there were some scratches on the furniture. I would use them again, and that's the plan for when I next move. more

A very pleasant moving experience. 8/3/2011

People Movers sent me a post card in the mail. I happened to be preparing for a move at the time, so I called them for a quote. They had way better prices than the other companies I checked, so I hired them. Basically, they came out and moved everything the way that I wanted. They asked me where my things should go, what they should take and what was staying. I was moving about an hour and a half away, and it went very smoothly. The guys with People Movers weren't just hired help, they actually took the time to talk to me. They had good personalities--very friendly. They were timely, and a good value, and I'm very satisfied with the experience. I definitely recommend you call them. more

People Movers are absolutely excellent! I couldn't believe it, they arrived early, and I was the one running late and they waited for me! I thought they were professional and courteous. They wrapped everything really well. They pointed out nicks the previous movers had done, and made suggestions on what they could have done better. They worked quickly and efficiently. I really appreciated the excellent service they provided. I would definitely use them again if I was going to move again, and I completely recommend their services if you are looking for a competent and reliable moving service! more

People Movers is easy to work with, always on time and very professional. 6/13/2011

We have used People Movers for quite a bit of different moving services. They moved our leasing offices and doctor offices. I especially like that they work with you as far as setting things up and breaking things down and cleaning up after themselves. They are always on time and very professional. They keep us in the loop, and let us know what's going on. Pricing with People Movers is very reasonable too. We'd definitely use them again! more

Extremely careful, polite, and considerate. 6/7/2011

The guys that came to me from People Movers were extremely knowledgeable. They showed me how to pick up heavy pieces, how to protect pieces from damage, and how to protect the floor from damage too. They immediately adhered to my requests. They also laid down a tarp on my new floor so as not to scratch it. They were extremely careful, polite, and considerate. They would ask me where I wanted items to go, so it was a pretty positive experience that went by quickly because they were so very efficient. more

They really earned their money! 5/31/2011

I absolutely would recommend People Movers. We called them 2 days before we needed them, and they were available and on time. They helped us move everything, and they really did do a great job. My poor husband felt so bad for them because we were moving a lot of heavy things up stairs. They did the best they could, and those guys really earned their money! more
