Penncare For Kids

This office doesn't even deserve 1 star! I am a mother of a child that has lung issues. He is on nebulizer treatments. Due to having my own medical problems, I am on disability. I have shared custody of my son. I called up their nurse, Terri, to tell her that with being on disability, I am having trouble making ends meet, since I pay for my meds out of pocket. I needed this Doctor's office to write a letter stating that my son has respiratory problems and this would have helped me to keep my electric on. Don't you know that the nurse Terri lied and told me he was off of his nebulizer treatments when he wasn't!!! What kind of Doctor's office has nurses that lie to parents about their child's progress?! Terri is obviously not competent to talk to parents on the phone when she can't even be honest about my child's health, when I have shared custody! more

I would advice ANY parent who cares about their child to avoid this office! The average wait time to schedule an appointment is 30 minutes on hold. Then you have the 45 minute wait in the office to actually see the doctor and once you are lucky enough to get a doctor in the room they shoo you out as soon as possible. I don't even think the doctors listened to me when I told them my son's symptoms! I am fed up with these kinds of practices that only care about turnover and not about helping children! more
