I am finally DONE with Peninsula!! I have had problems with them for 3 years now. I had a service contract with them but their service technicians have no idea what they're doing....

Peninsula oil sucks 2/13/2018

I am finally DONE with Peninsula!! I have had problems with them for 3 years now. I had a service contract with them but their service technicians have no idea what they're doing. Two years ago, my heater wouldn't start so I called a tech to come out and fix it. Three techs later, they told me that my chimney needed to be cleaned out and that's why the heater wouldn't work. I said " ..." and called a friend of mine that worked for .. heating and air. I told him what the heater was doing and OVER THE PHONE, he said "oh, your relay is bad"!!! He came over and replaced the relay and miraculously we had heat. I then went to cancel my service contract and was told that I had to cancel 30 days prior to my renewal, so they got me for another year of having to have techs that didn't know what they were doing. So this year, they let me run out of oil. I am on auto-delivery, budget billing and had a credit with them for over $1000. So Monday of last week when we ran out of oil, I called ... and they are now my new oil company. Oh and by the way, my husband tried to call them when we ran out of oil and was on hold for 20 minutes!!! more

Worst company ever 1/9/2018

They do not call back have been calling for two days even left message for owner no response. Did not deliver propane even though on auto delivery. Now frozen pipes and no water due to frozen and cracked pump. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Will not let u give 0. more

My experience with peninsula persons was nothing short of outstanding from our initial sales conversations with Mike Carey who was friendly and helpful , to the lead Master installer Mike E. Who was very knowledgeable , professional about his work and friendly . He took great prid in even the smallest of details to make sure it was done correctly and looked good . When “shortcuts” were available he still did it right . Part of his team was Brad and John Lee who rounded the team out well with good knowledge , work ethic, and doing things without being told . Even Mike our salesperson was helping pick up supplies to keep the job moving and on schedule . When the team contacted the office that the job would take another day to finish , the office response was to focus on getting the job done right !!! I feel I received a showcase job These professionals are certainly and asset to Peninsula and make this company what it is , a quality place to do business with .. I could not say enough good things about this team and. Certainly recommend them to anyone . more

Poor Service Poor Customer Service 7/27/2017

This message has to do with waste and recycling pickup, or should I write MISSED pickup AGAIN! I contracted with Peninsula in mid-June. My containers have been out at street side since before sunset last night. By 11 today I noticed that neighbors in my community of Lochwood appeared to have their recycling picked up. I called at 11 and then again after noon and spoke to Merish and clearly explained that I expect my recycling to be picked up TODAY. What a disappointment to arrive home at 4:55 to see that it was NOT picked up. I immediately called but went to VM where I left a message. And not even a courtesy call from Peninsula explaining why. Bad, bad. bad service and customer service! Now I wait for my call back by 9 a.m. tomorrow. Can't even put my disappointment in to words. more

Poor Service 6/17/2017

If I could give a ZERO I would! Avoid them if you like good service. They are nice when you sign up for trash service, but after that--they are not concern. For me to sit here to write, I gave them a chance. They did not pick up our trash way back and I did not say anything. I sent a message to them on the site since they were closed and no one even called back to do their so call "guarentee pick up" that they lie about on the site. I even called customer service and they said oh they did not do your street. We will have someone the next day and they never came. Strike one! Then Last week, we had them for recycle. We had the windows open, so we saw them back up the vehicle and picked up the neighbor's recycle, but skipped ours. SO I sent another message to them about the service and they did not respond, because they were closed for the hours. Strike 2. Then this week, we had regular trash and they picked up the trash, but not completely take all the trash in the trash can. I do not know how it is possible when you have to close the lid and can see more trash. I called to speak to a trash manager and I left a message asking him to call me. NO CALL BACK. I sent a message that night. NO MESSAGE BACK. Then I called customer service and they were busy. They stated that they will call back by end of business day when you leave a message. I called 1:00PM and I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. You pay for service and they never do their job or give customer service. They blame it on the turnover in employees. When my 3 months are up. I am getting a different trash company, because this is a mess. I pay on time and I expect to get what I pay for. more

Bad Service 6/12/2017

Probably the worse service I could imagine. Too bad I had to offer any star! Made an appointment a week ago and scheduled an A/C tune up on Friday, June 9. Received a call early Friday, cancelling appointment due to a technician's injury. Changed my schedule for the day but S_ _ _ happens, no problem. Rescheduled for the following Monday, June 12, 2017. At 4:45 pm, no technician and no call from Peninsula. Called them and was immediately transferred to a manager. I was told that they had to tend to other people who had their A/C units go down. Apparently it didn't matter that I rescheduled two days of work appointments for A/C maintenance. I guess the high dollar emergency rip-offs supersede routine maintenance and my schedule!!! I became the "bad guy" because of my insensitively to customers that were down, without A/C. So Peninsula's short staff now became my problem. Been a customer for four years but will find another company more sensitive to their commitments and my needs. Awful, awful service! Oh...apparently the owner is too rich and famous to talk or respond! more

Dependable Service 2/3/2017

Have used Peninsula before and again for plumbing jobs. Chuck S. did a great job and was very professional and pleasant. Plan to use Peninsula for all plumbing needs. more

Avoid this company 11/2/2016

New system installed in September and it has not worked since day one. The install that was supposed to take three days took six. On the first day above 90 outside the A/C ran for eighteen hours with out stopping and couldn't cool the house to under 75. Now it's cold outside and the heat pump will not work. I've gotten one excuse after another and that's when I get told anything at all. Most of the time appointments are made and not kept and I don't even get a phone call to tell me they are not coming and why. I called yesterday for an update since nobody would call me and was transferred to the service manager's voice mail and still have not gotten a call back. more
