One of my favorites 10/20/2004

Pen Thai is a great restaurant for a quick bite if you are in a rush, and it's a place to bring friends to celebrate an occasion. Crispy garlic chicken, Penang Beef and pad thai with tofu are my favorites, but I've explored others when with a large group. Check out the original restaurant in Bellevue, Chantanee. :) Pros: good service, kid friendly more

Great food, great surprise 8/26/2004

I was pleasantly surprised when someone recommended Pen Thai to me. The food was great, service was quick, and they do take-out! Our favorite is the Heavenly Beef. The only thing negative I would say is that their pad thai is good, but I've had better -- if you like more ""stuff"" in your pad thai like I do, you won't like theirs that much. Pen Thai 6/13/2004

Having been a fan of the family's Chantanee restaurant in Bellevue, I was thrilled to hear about the Bothell location! I must say its the best Thai food I've ever eaten, and has the best service in town. Everyone is very attentive and you are always greeted with a smile. My favorite is the Crispy Garlic Chicken, at least 3 stars. THe biggest plus for me is that they are very kid friendly- I can take my 6 year old with me and she LOVES it too! Pros: friendly staff, kid friendly, prompt service more

The Owners of Chantanee did a wonderful job with this great little place in Bothell! Great food and service has carried over from the Bellevue Chantanee Family Thai Restaurant. more

By far Pen Thai is the best Thai food in the Seattle area; and the fact that it's also reasonably priced makes it better. Pen Thai is highly reccomended. Pros: food, value, atmosphere more

Thai with a positive attitude! 6/14/2003

Julie Chantanee and her family have done it again. Pen Thai is theirs from the floor up and so the ambience now suits the quality food and friendly staff. As always kids are welcome. Try the spicy papaya salad if you've got a hot taste or the Phad Pet Gai if you like it milder. Well worth the trip even though Chantanee in Bellevue is closer to us. Pros: quality food, superb staff, good value Cons: a little far to go more
