What a charming and lovely place to stay! This is our 2nd experience in a Bed and Breakfast and we have to say that it was a great experience! The two breakfasts were fantastic! This is a great place to stay! Nancy is awesome and makes such delicious breakfasts. We loved how close it was to the beach and the village of Carlsbad. We never had to drive anywhere. We will definitely be returning! more

It has been such a wonderful weekend here in Carlsbad. The Pelican Cove Inn has been warm and welcoming. Nancy has been exceptional. Every breakfast has been delicious. I love the La Jolla room. The ambience, the furniture, the whirlpool tub; spectacular! 2 nights is not enough; We will be back soon! more

What a lot of blessings we have just received! Our friends, a newly married couple, gave us a gift certificate for a special night which we have used to celebrate our 43rd anniversary. This is our 1st wedding anniversary. Being here gave us a scarce chance to relax and sleep in each others arms. The room is elegant and beautiful. I especially liked the carpet, lamps, high ceiling and fan -- and the feather bed. We have one at home but are now going to get a down comforter too so we always remember how we felt here. more

We had such a luxurious weekend at Pelican Cove. Everything about our stay was so luxurious-the Coronado room with the four poster feather bed, the yummy breakfasts and of course the luxurious way we were treated by you, our lovely hostess. I couldn't have asked for a more lovely birthday! We will be back for our anniversary! more

We have had an absolutely fantastic stay for 9 days and could not wish for anything better!!Having stayed in 5-star hotels around the world, many of them cannot compare when it comes to the warm hospitality, superb home cooked breakfasts, comfortable and personalised rooms at Pelican Cove Inn.The location in Carlsbad is extremely convenient, walking distance to beaches, restaurants and shops.We will definitely come back again and enjoy another stay with Nancy and her staff not to forget Lucy and Ricky! more
