Bites We Like
Lunchtime seems geared towards enchiladas, offered with a pleasant red sauce or an equally agreeable green. Big tostada salads are heavy with sour cream, guacamole, shredded chicken and mild salsa, and the combination plates bring just what you'd expect. Only the more expensive dinner entrees disappoint, with lackluster and ersatz seasonings.
Margaritaville
Look for happy hour (4-6pm) drink specials, margaritas $1 off, beers 25 cents to $1 off. Margaritas are serviceable and generous, offered in regular workhorse lime or more froufrou fruit flavors.
The Scene
Imagine the food at Chevy's—delete from your mind the kids yelling about balloons and that horrible birthday song they perpetrate on everyone—and add lots of margarita-swilling 20- and 30-somethings.
