The real thing 5/27/2005

I travelled in northern italy for 6 weeks in college and this is the most authentic italian I've found in the US. The pizza is exactly as I remember it in those favorite of restaurants in Florence, Ferrara, Vicenza, Verona. Defintely worth a trip with a date or friends and family. Pros: food, staff, parking more

Best authentic Italian pizza! 5/5/2004

Pazzia is a favorite lunch spot for me and my co-workers. The food, particularly the pizza, is consistently delicious and takes me back to my travels in Italy. The service is always excellent as well. Once we were even given a free tiramisu dessert to share (which was outstanding)- they definitely recognize their loyal customers! Pros: Amazing food, Affordable, Service more

Delicious 1/1/2004

I have always gone to Trattoria Contadina for Italian, and now I have two choices, with distinctly different styles! Their vegetable antipasti was a pleasant surprise- usually antipasti is served cold but here all the vegetables were fresh off the grill-warm with olive oil and lightly salted, perfectly tal dente. The Rigatoni Salsiccia was delectable and hearty with noticeable mushrooms and fennel-spiked sausage. Another winning dish was fresh striped bass with a light, fresh tomato sauce. we didn't get a chance to try their desserts as we were already stuffed but I'm sure they are just as fine as the rest of our meal. What a great find! Pros: Authentic staff, great service, easy parking Cons: can get drafty more

Perfect Price, Perfect for Groups 3/31/2003

The food was delicious at this cute Italian joint. The service was very good considering the fact that I had to wait for my group of 12 to arrive. Staff was patient and attentive. Massimo, the owner (?), introduced himself to my table and welcomed us to his restaurant. Prices were unbelievably reasonable! Ambience was romantic but also perfect for friends. Pros: price, food, good for groups Cons: had to wait for check more

After spending some time in Italy I realized just how authentic Pazzia's food is. We even visited their family restaurant while in Florence. I highly recommend Pazzia. more

What a find this place is!!!! A couple of friends who spent a considerable amount of time in Italy introduced me to Pazzia, and I fell in love. The ambiance is simple and inviting with a small outdoor seating area. We were constantly attended to by an extraordinary waitstaff that were friendly and charming. And the food was fresh, fast and delicious. Anyone who enjoys great food and a fun, cozy atmosphere will love this restaurant! Pros: Great Value, Great Hosts/Waitstaff, Oh! the Food!
