I was recommended by a great friend to Paul Labrecque. I'm 28 and just got out of a really bad relationship. I told her that i wanted a brand new look, something amazing. I went to the west side location and got my cut done by star and my color by scarlett. IF I COULD POST A PICTURE OF MY BEFORE AND AFTER I WOULD!!! AMAZING!!! You ladies really changed my life.... Thank you.... Pros: Great Staff, Amazing stylist. Cons: That i don't live across the street haha more

I signed up to be a hair model and never once was told the price. I told the stylist that I was fine with whatever she did as long as she didn't chop off my long, naturally blonde hair and turn it red as that was the first time I had been a hair model. I ended up with a cut and highlights AND lowlights (and only a 1/4 head) because Paul and she suggested it. Not once did anyone mention, hey, you are racking up the costs adding each of these even though I mentioned I was unemployed. On top of it all, why should I pay $60 for a brown spot the size of a quarter on the back of my head that they both pointed out yet did nothing to remove. Afte speaking with the Salon Manager, she was rude, even laughed continually while I told her how upset I was and found it to be entirely my fault for not confirming these were free. I guess I thought when you mention ""unemployed"" and end up with a brown spot on my head, that meant free. It also took 3 hours for a trim (not a major cut at all) and the 1/4 head of highlights. If you want to go as a paying client, go to Rita Hazaan. At least they know what they are doing, you are in and out in no time and they would never charge you for a color mistake on your head. Actually, they'd never make one. more

I wish I could rate zero stars. Cons: not good on word. make-up artist show up 4 hrs late. salon still makes pay. more

I went in on a whim for brows and was booked with Katy. She totally changed me and gave me a great brow with the perfect arch. I get compliments on it all the time. I see her for make up now too. Definitely check her out! She is the best!!!! more

i loved this place - i went for the first time in july for a haircut with Shin - she is amazing. i never got so many compliments on my haircut. the staff was very nice and the salon is really pretty. they can offer you anything you want to drink and have a nice waiting area. i can't wait for my next hair appointment - which i just booked. I would definitely not recommend this salon to any of my friends. A Total rip off!!This has to be one of the worst hair cuts I have ever gotten. I was told that the hair cut would be $186, but when I went to pay, It was $250. For that kind of money, I should look like Jessica Simpson. For the last year, I've been told how great the stylists are. And that my hair will grow out nicely. Yeah right! It looks like Jennifer Aniston did way back when. It's going to take months to grow out now. Thank God I don't have any events coming up!!! Plus, it's so uneven. I had to cut it at least three times in the last few weeks to even it out. I could have put a bowl over my head and cut it myself. And it would look a thousand times better. Seriously, think about going elsewhere. $250 is alot of $$$$ .....you should be happy when leaving a salon. Plus, they kept me waiting at least 1/2 hour. My time is valuable too!!! Girlfirend surprized me with a straight razor shave for my birthday this past weekend. It was a whole lot more than just a shave...a facial, head massage, hair trim, the whole nine yards. This place was fantastic. Misty took care of me and it was so relaxing and rejuvinating. Now I know why women go to these places...it's nice to be pampered. Pros: Very good value for what you get. At the recommendation of a trusted friend, I went to this salon in April of this year. I saw Rose for color and Jason for a cut. Let's just say that my hair was not in the best condition but by the time I left I could not have been happier! I have continued to go since then, and just got married about a month ago. I convinced my entire bridal party to go there for cut and color prior to the wedding and to have their makeup and hair done on the day of the wedding! I have to tell you that my entire wedding party looked drop dead gorgeous, especially in the photos. People said that they look like they could be in Vogue magazine. We used Adolfo, Pepper and Rose for hair and Taymour, Pepper and Steven for makeup!! They are all the bomb!! I highly recommend this place!! Pros: Great Service, they really take their time. My boyfriend got me a gift certificate from Paul Labrecque and I had the best time. The reception staff greeted me and immediately took care of me, escorted me to the locker room, brought me some herbal tea, and made me feel comfortable. I had a wonderful facial with Regina and a massage with Michael who has the best hands I have ever had..(for a massage that is.) They then escorted me upstairs for my manicure and blowout. Aurora gave me an awesome hand massage during my manicure and Hector gave the best blowout I have ever had, it lasted 4 days! They even gave me a complimentary makeup application with taymour and he tweezed my brows as well, he was the best! I have never been pampered so well in my life. I HIGHLY reccomend this salon for any services you may need, they'll take care of it. more

I kept hearing about how great this place was, and yes, it's a very beautiful salon but the management couldn't have been more lame. The one girl i think with brown curly hair was so rude you could almost smell her unhappiness seeping out of her. There was another man shorter, bald and had glasses whom i overheard talking to the staff in such a way that was so offensive it was embarrassing. I'm not sure who these people think they are!! more

I came all the way down from Providence, RI and had the best haircut ever! The stylists' is Pepper. She is fun and adventurous. My haircut is so versatile, I had long hair and always wore it up, and now there are great layers and I can wear it so it looks short as well. She had a great solution for my boring everyday hair. If you want a change this is who to go to. The whole experience of the salon was wonderful too. more

I am never satisfied w/my haircuts and are always sick of them within weeks. At PL, the stylist, Pepper, gave me the haircut I've been waiting for! She actually showed me how to work WITH my waves and embrace them. And I can actually do it at home. Highly recommend Pepper! more

I highly recomment this salon. Pepper is exceptional. If you can't afford her great but pricey haircuts, Kelly is less expensive and wonderful well. The salon is gorgeous and the staff is lovely. more
