Decent 4/14/2010

Fairly large nursery with a good variety of plants, but many of the plants were in just okay condition. Prices seemed a little on the high side. The person who helped me wasn't that great and we went wandering around a lot and he did not provide a lot of insight. I went to Homestead afterward and found it to be a much better nursery in pretty much every way. more

Cool place, Beautiful Plants 9/29/2009

I have lived in the area for years and I just discoverd this place. What a beautiful nursery. We are thinking about doing our yard over and I am definately going there to get plants. more

Patuxent Nursery helped me with my entire yard 5/4/2009

I was kinda overwhelmed when I went to the nursery to try to give my yard a fresh look for spring. Patuxent's staff totally helped me out and helped me put together a fresh look that I planted myself and can maintain. Thanks Carol more

Seasonal Good Deals on Plants 7/24/2005

Patuxent Nursery occasionally has really good deals on some plants. In the spring, they have a great deal on impatiens and other summer flowering plants - I think it was $1.25 for a pack of 6 small plants. This can make things confusing later, though. I went back a couple months later and thought I found another great deal - 18 plants for only a couple of dollars. I was wrong. Read the fine print on the signs before buying. I ended up returning to the shelves a whole tray of beautiful plants. They also have a good variety of stones and pavers for landscaping. more
