Used the Brazilian Knot hair method for many years in a salon in Connecticut. My hair was shedding from the tightness of the knots. I called Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon NYC...

Worst

I find it interesting how there are 5 stars and all these names with the same exact date with such glowing reviews. I can't say that my experience was exceptional like these. ...

Excellent, Excellent Hair Extensions. I had been to many salons and shops in my time, and going to Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon was a great experience. They have Valet Parking, the salon is extremely modern, and Patricia is the most knowledgeable in the business. She read my mind in what I was looking for. She is extremely quick in thought, and helped me find the right solution for my thin hair.\r \r All I can say is Thank You, thanks for all, and I am looking forward to my next visit. more

Excellent haircuts and hair colors are also done at Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon. My sister got hair extensions and she looked great. I went along with her and decided to get a hair coloring and cut while I waited. I didn't come in looking for one, since I already had a stylist. But seeing the trendy people in the salon, I thought I would try. I was not disappointed, my blonde hair color came out perfect and the haircut matched the shape of my face. I recommend trying the hair colors and cuts if you are not interested in hair extensions. more

I decided to start 2013 with a new look. My hair had always been short, for the past five years. My boyfriend help convince me to get hair extensions, and since he was picking up the tab, I figured it would be worth a chance. I found Patricia's after some serious research. She seemed to be the most qualified. When you arrive, you actually seem amazed walking in the salon. It is stunning, and crowded with other women doing hair extensions. Patricia gives an amazing free consult, much better than I had at one other hair salon in the city.The extensions came out better than I could of imagined. I looked like a totally different girl. I forgot how great I looked with long hair. It has been such a long time. Many thanks to the staff, you did a great job on my hair. more

Patricia's performs all types of hair extensions. The ones that I prefer are the micro links hair extensions. Yes, they do slide off more than a typical hair extension than I had in the past, but they are reusable and if any pieces come out, Patricia's just adds them back for you for free anyway. My hair is oily because I must admit, I don't shampoo as much as I should. Good thing is that Patricia's doesn't charge me to put back any loose pieces, even though it is my fault I guess that they slide out because I don't take care of my hair like I should. I just am so busy lately and work has been crazy. Just wanted to write that when it comes to getting extensions in NYC, Patricia's is the best place for them in case you are wondering where to go. more

Couldn't image going to another hair extensions salon, other that Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon. My visits started around 4 years ago, when a salon in New Jersey damaged my hair. Ever since, I have been going to Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon. They have so many hair types, and inventory, I never need to worry about adding a bundle of extensions every now and then when I need it. The colorists I would say are the best hair colorists in NYC, as you really need to be an expert in order to match extensions and develop difficult looks. Leda and Jasminka are my two favorite colorists in the salon, and I recommend them highly. I love the fact they are open 7 days a week, this way I never get stuck in any NY traffic, and parking is so plentiful. more

I have read many reviews about hair extensions/ wigs for chemo patients at Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon, and now I am going to add my name to the list. I am a cancer survivor, and when I had chemo last year, my hair was lost. I didn't know what to do, or where to go. I found Patricia's from my doctor, who actually recommended them from the rave reviews he received from his other patients. I went to meet Patricia and see what my options were, and she was as kind and gentle as can be.\r \r She found me a great hair system to use, it looked great, and nobody knew I just underwent chemo. I kept using the system for 7 months or so, just long enough for my hair to grow enough for hair extensions and another, smaller hair system found at her salon. The results were stunning; I was completely back to my old self. I felt so good to have the exact same hair I had before the chemo. Patricia's is not just a hair salon, they are a hair team, and they go out of their way to make you look and feel great.\r more

I think Patricia's was the only hair salon unaffected by the hurricane. Salon was working like normal this past week with a full staff and electricity and no damage anywhere near their area. I was able to get there this week by subway, as the train was working at their stop. I called other salons before finding them, and nobody was able to help me. I was able to get hair extensions for my wedding next week, along with a hair color and waxing. It is good to know that there are great salons to go to when the weather is bad. I was surprised to see the salon was very busy even after a huge storm when people didn't have gas to travel. more

Recently got Fusion Hair Extensions from Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon. Went to the salon after seeing their beautiful Facebook page. The salon is extremely gorgeous. They have beautiful, trendy girls who are so talented when it comes to hair extensions. Many people have written how when you go there, you see a salon filled with people doing hair extensions. That is so true, I was sitting in the salon, waiting for my consult, and all you can see is hair extensions, hair extensions and hair extensions. Amazing to see. Patricia help pick what would be good for me. They have so much hair in inventory, another amazing site.\r \r If you are looking for hair extensions, this is the place to be. Lost my hair after chemo. It was a very difficult time in my life. Patricia was very understanding and compassionate. She helped me pick the most amazing cancer wig, very natural and easy to take care of. She styled and highlighted it the way I wanted. Went back to the salon after, not for my hair, but for the spa facials which are very good as well. Last week, my hair was finally long enough, that Patricia was able to do hair extensions on my and I retired my chemo wig. I have my hair back now, thanks to Patricia. Thank you for your care and understanding during my time of need. more

Hair Extensions Specialists in New York. Visited from London this week. I heard many great things about Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon from others who have been there on holiday. I must say, I never saw so many people getting hair extensions at the same time, as I did when I walked into Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon. They matched my hair quickly, gave me a color correction and a great cut after. I spent most of the day there, since I did so many things, but the end result was worth it. Place is truly the best around. more

The finest Russian Hair Extensions that I ever saw were at Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon. So soft and silky hair, all natural blonde hair. Not many places, if any have 100% authentic Russian Hair Extensions. From what I understand there is some type of supply shortage. Patricia's carries Russian Hair Extensions as well as European and more. When you see the huge amount of hair extensions they have in general you can't help but to be impressed.\r \r Pictures are amazing of the salon as well as the amount of clients. Place was very crowded when I went. Plan ahead to avoid the crowds.\r more

Best Salon for Great Lengths Hair Extensions. Other salon don't have any Great Lengths Hair Inventory. Great Lengths has experienced shortages of many key colors, and there is a waiting list to get hair. I went to 3 other salon, each had that problem. At Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon, they have every color and length. They must have some type of excellent relationship with the company, because I was able to get my hair color that nobody else had, all right after the consult. No wait, no delay. Thanks Patricia's, I don't know how you do it, but your organization is the best. Love your photo galleries, never saw so many pictures before, add mine soon. more

Spa Special priced at $99 for MicroDerm and Spa Facial is one of the best deals in NYC. I am from London, and never saw such a great price for that type of combination. Many salons in Manhattan wanted triple. Adriana is the best, the special is on the weekends only. The salon was filled with women getting hair extensions, next time I am visiting NYC, I am going to get some hair extensions also. more

Love the Full Lace Front Wigs. I bought the same type of Lace Front Wig that Beyonce wears, it is gorgeous. The hair is so soft, the Lace Wigs at Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon are all handmade, and have such beautiful natural parts; nobody knows that I am wearing a Lace Front Wig. The private showroom is by appointment only, so make sure you call for an appointment ahead of time. I had my own private room with a sink, TV, and I sat in a Fendi Chair, the place is so plush. The cappuccino is delicious also. more

I called Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon NYC after doing extensive research. She does not do the Brazilian Knot Hair Extensions method because she knows the method is very damaging. She recommended me a hair system using Brazilian hair, which matches my natural hair texture, that was damage free. Patricia's does the most hair extensions methods found anywhere, and best of all, the methods don't damage your hair. I wish I would of researched hair extensions year ago, I would not have traction Alopecia today if I did. more

My hot tip for all. Come on a Monday or a Tuesday when it is slower. The other days can get very busy. The earlier you come the better, you can take advantage of the same day consult and service, like I do. I live in the Hamptons, so I am back and forth, completely done all in a day when I get my hair extensions. Buy the hair extensions products, one time I used my own and it made the extensions slip, my shampoo was not good for hair extensions bondings. Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon has great products that really make the extensions last longer. more
