If you are looking for a romantic candlelight italian dinner this is not going to be your first choice. However Pomodoro is still a great deal for what you get. The interior is nice with some outdoor sidewalk dining. the decor is red and black and family friendly but not too romantic. The menu wasn't too extensive but they usually have some pretty good specials. The food isn't the best but overall its pretty good. Only medium sized portions but everything i have tried has been very rich and filling. They have great ceasar and caprese salads but other dishes aren't anything to rave about. However, the prices are very affordable $7-$13 a dish which makes this a great place for someone who wants a nice place for a great price. This is the best italian food place in town! From the spaghetti with meatballs to the BEST chicken fettuccine I have every tasted! When ever I go, I look forward to the bread with the pesto sauce because it is just do delicious. As a healthier alternative, you can change a selection of the menu items to using whole wheat pasta, and it makes it just as good or better. The vegetable soup is delicious as well, to start off the meal or to have as a main course. The one thing I would dock the restaurant for is the occasional slow service. I once waited about forty minutes for my meal, but after its arrival, it made up for the long wait. Over all, A+ for food and fun atmosphere for families, friends, and even couples!
