Pasha Mediterranean Grill

I love Pasha! The only time I was ever disappointed with Pasha was during the time they were building their Vineyard location. (The portions shrank!) Now, Pasha's back on point as the best Mediterranean restaurant in town. The naan bread they serve you for free is amazing! It's always hot and fresh and they don't hesitate to bring you more. The sweet tea is also amazing. A hint of lemon and rosewater... OMG. I always like to try new dishes but my favorite is definitely the moussaka. The value is outstanding. A must go!! more

I've been to Pasha a few times. The food has always been good. Today I had a very bad experience. The place was not very busy, maybe 6 tables. I ordered a kabob plate. The guy never brought me silver ware, he just thru a piece of naan on the table and never came back. I was observing how he brought the table next to us naan 4 times. I got up and got a fork but never found a napkin. The onions on the kabob were super burnt. Needless to say, I left most of the food on the plate and left. I felt discriminated on, the 3 waiters there only catered to the Arabic clientele. Oh well.... too bad for them... San Antonio's population is mostly Hispanics.. But Mediterranean grills are popping up all over SA. I'll never spend a cent on Pasha again.. more

Great food. I had the beef schwarma, it was good. The hummous, salad, and bread were delicious. My waiter was very attentive, and I appreciated the swift service, as sometimes dining alone in a restaurant full of tables with families can make one feel awkward. San Antonio isn't really known for its broad pallate. Cities of smaller size are able to sustain a more diverse selection of ethnic dining, so Pasha is a welcome change of pace. It's clean, convenient, friendly and has excellent food at a good value. We need more ethnically diverse restaurants in S.A. to follow Pasha's recipe for success. I've been here several times with a friend of mine, and it has been the first time ever that I've tried Hummus, and I really loved it. Their pita bread is soooo good as well, it comes out nice, soft and warm. Their grilled chicken is wonderful, I could not be more satisfied with their food. But be careful with whom your waiter might be, last time we got this guy who would not dare look at me, nor take my glass for re-fills or anything.. but to my friend he even re-filled his cup thrice! My friend told me that he might be a muslim and because I'm a woman, he looks down on me. Well I'm sorry my friend, but we are in America, and here if you are a waiter, your money comes from tips, and tips are earned by good service, I'm not even asking for EXCELLENT service, but to at least treated like a human being , would be much appreciated next time. and no we did not leave him a tip... and not because ""i'm cheap"" but because I pay only for good service... we are in a harsh economy right now so I'm not gonna waste my money on crappy service.
