Pasadena Veterinary Specialists

Dr. Jocelyn Mott is a very talented veterinary specialist. She helped us out with our dog.\r HOWEVER, I must warn you that taking your pet to this place will cost you a pretty penny. (Diagnostic tests ad inifinitum.) I probably make more than the average person, so I was able to pay up, but I'm sure that there are many people who love their pets dearly but end up with an enormous bill that they cannot pay. Seriously, they order WAY too many tests. more

STAY AWAY!!! These people do not care for the animals, all they care for is $$$$$$$. The Dr we had was a complete B_t_h! and had no compassion. She was so arrogant and only wanted to put my dog through a number of tests. I left there paying over $1700 and had NO ANSWERS to what was wrong with my 1 1/2 year old Shihtzu. When we were asking numerous questions about my dog symptoms that we have done extensive research on the internet (to help solve this problem), she basically handed us a reference sheet for another doctor and said I am no longer going to care for your dog. All we wanted were some answers and Dr. Mott provided NONE. We were also told that we would be informed if there were any changes in my dog's condition, and when we showed up the next morning he had an infection in his eye that was no there the night before (we received no call during the night).This is the worst place I have ever been and please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money (because you will not leave there without paying a minimum of $500) taking your pet here. I am so sorry that I brought my pet to this AWFUL DREADED PLACE. If I can give this place a 0 Star rating I would. Pros: NOTHING!!! Cons: All they want is Money...They DONT care about your Pet more

I took my hamster to the vet for a check up because it was very sick. I was told 70 for a check up and later charged $120, and to further the treatment for 24 hour hospital stay they gave me an estimate of over $500. I couldn't afford that much money so I asked if I could take the hamster home and purchase some antibiotics but they refused to give me anything at all since I won't go through their proposed treatemtn. The whole ordal took the doctor about 2 minutes. And I was sent home with my pet with nothing. I would definitely stay away from ithis place next time. more

Very bad attitude and even hung up on me when I called them. There polices stink. If you are not their client you cannot get products from them that are prescribed, even with a prescription from another vet in the area. Stay away. Cons: does not sell products unless you are a client, very bad attitude! more
