I've lived my entire life in the transient megalopolis of South Florida and feel so blessed to have found a 'home-town veterinarian' for my priceless pets. He is not warm fuzzy, high profile, or glamorous. He is brilliant and truly cares about the animals. I have been bringing my pets (as well as a few rescues and visitors) to him since approximately 1990. He is my forever vet so he can never retire. I can't imagine anyone I would trust like I can trust Dr Stone. more

Most amazing vet I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Very knowledgeable and caring. Most offices wanted my pitbulls muzzled and Dr. Stone gives your dog a chance never even mentioned it. Such a relief to find them. My step dad used them since I was a kid. Unfortunately had to put my dog down after having kidney failure and they took me straight back and was very understanding. more

Dr. Stone is an amazing vet physician, extremely talented, and with a truly sharp diagnostic acumen and a deep commitment to his animal patients. He is very adept at keeping the animals' owners very calm as well. His prices are never exorbitant and always very fair. He never overtests but equally does not refrain from telling you when a test is vital. His staff, which includes his wife, are excellent, and like their phsyician boss, it is obvious that they have the same compassion. Have been using Dr. Stone for almost 16 years and he is a gret diagnostician and fabulous surgeon. Recommend him highly. more

he is the smartest Vet and fair price and he loves animals never need a apointment large staf and he is hands on with the animals . if your not looking for a fancy office but the best vet you can find in the world go to Dr Stone more

Best Animal Clinic in So. FL 10/14/2009

My dogs been going to Dr. Stone for many years; even their breeder brought her dogs to him. He & his staff are knowledgeable and very caring. My dog loves him and the girls, he jumps up on the front counter to let Mrs. Stone know he is there to be checked in. I moved 35 miles away & have tried many other clinics where I moved but will always come back to Dr. Stone. He is a great diagnostician and is concerned about costs and cares more about the pets than the over-head. If he had a bigger office he would have to charge more, he sees many many more pets in the space of an hour than some of the chain vet clinics I visited further north Broward. Pros: Dr. Stone & staff care about every animal they treat more

Dr Stone dreat teacher and vet, very old school 7/1/2008

Dr stone, his wife and all of the staff are great in every way. The dr. also teaches and has many interns and students who watch and learn from this professional who never over sells products or medications and is all business during your appointment. I recently moved over 50 miles from his office and changed vets only to make the drive back to Dr Stone due to his knowledge and my love for my pets well being. NO computer on site but he correctly confirmed by dogs normal liver size for free at his home computer as my temp vet and Banfeild clinic had be scared and wasted thousands of dollars on specialist, mri's and pills. An example of his charges are as follows, when the dog was fixed he also removed an inbedded testicle for $50.00. My dog elvis and Nicki love hom and all my freinds throughout South Florida use Dr Stone more

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Stone for many years and although his facility isn't state of the art, Dr. Stone is the best vet around. His prices are fair and he is always willing to help. Dr. Stone, his wife and his staff are always available to give our pets the best care for the least cost. They don't look for things to charge you for. Best of all the animals love him. Pros: The best pet care in the neighborhood with fair pricing. Cons: Office could be updated more
