RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!! LOOKS ARE DECEIVING.\r
When we first saw the place it looked fresh and clean until you actually move in. They only fix things well enough to make it pretty, but it is never done correctly. We could not sit on our toilet without it sounding like it was going to fall through the floor. They sent someone out (not a maintenance crew) because it was rocking so bad due to fact that the wrong pipe was put in and if it continues to rock the pipe would break. But instead of fixing it properly he just put what seemed like about 15-20 sims under the toilet to stop it from rocking. Needless to say that didn't last long and they never bothered to come back and fix it right. Then ants took over the apartment after only being there one month and they tried to make us pay to have the apartment sprayed. Then in the heart of the winter they sent someone out because the heat stopped working. The guy said that the entire unit would have to be replaced and they had to get permission from the owner, so until then they would leave the heat on emergency heat while they wait on an approval. Well an entire month went by without hearing anything back from them. I finally called them and 2 weeks later they had it fixed. The next month I received a power bill of over $1100.00 because they left the heat on emergency all that time which they would not help pay for. So due to having to pay that it made us a month behind on our rent because I am on a fixed income of only $1050.00 due to having RA and Lupus. But when we asked for more time to pay they asked us to leave which we were fine with. Whe gave them a 30 day notice, left the unit very clean with no damages, and they kept the security deposit. We were fine with that also because we just wanted to be rid of them. They have now put an eviction on our credit saying they had to take possession of the property by force and that we never paid them which is a BOLD-FACED LIE!!!!!!! I have the emails and the certified checks from my credit union to prove it. What is sad is that I should have to because they know the truth. What happened to companies having integrity? It is really sad that a company has to try to get over on average every day citizens that are trying to be productive parts of society and need a place to live in order to make their money. These people are heartless, uncaring, insensitive, and most of all GREEDY! They may be doing good now, but the way they do business once you have signed on the dotted line, they will not be around for long. Every chance I get I make sure to let as many people as I possibly can know to stay as far away from Park Ave Properties as they can. I've put it on twitter, facebook, instagram and every other networking site I can find and I am not going to stop. I may be just a small person to them because I don't have a lot of money, but I do have a voice that I make sure is heard. So I say again, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE if you want to be treated with dignity and respect!!! These people don't see tenants in need of a nice place to live they see dollar signs.\r
