Very professional. They were up front and honest about everything and did great work. The waiting area is great too!

TOTALLY BEWARE! 2/3/2011

Rip off! Rip Off! Rip off! I have my oil changed at Woodbury Autocare on all 4 of my vehicles because of the savings. Each & EVERY time the Manager has tried to sell me on costly and verified UNNECESSARY repairs. I have politely responded with "No Thank you" only to have the Manager get rude with me. In talking to other customers I have found that this is common practice for Woodbury Autocare & also heard worse stories from some of my friends & associates. I will no longer being doing business with them even for simple oil changes. more

BEWARE! 11/18/2010

Like a number of other people already said, Woodbury Autocare has a shady operation going on. I typically bring my car to the dealer but brought it in after it was closed to have an issue looked at. These guys quoted me $3000 and a said I needed unnecessary things fixed. Said they could take care of me right away (because they weren't working on any other cars at the time). Are you kidding me? The night manager should not be trusted! Steer clear of this place! BTW, I ended up paying $875 at the dealer… more

World Class Service Station 10/21/2010

World class service. I have been to many service stations, none of them compare to these guys. From the moment you enter there building to completing the work, this place rocks. The management team always takes the time to explain the repairs needed at that moment and what will need to be done in the future. \r \r Very fair pricing. I recommend them strongly. more

Excellent Service 10/5/2010

I have been coming to Woodbury Autocare for years now. This is my only stop for any type of vehicle repairs. I have always had excellent service. Keep up the good work guys. The last visit I had an emergency and had to get out of town. The guys got my vehicle in right away and had an alternator replaced and I was back on the road in only a couple of hours. more

Broke down 9/30/2010

I brought my vehicle in to the shop on a Saturday. I had no appointment and was in bind. They not only got me a ride home, but had the vehicle back on the road in several hours. From the newly remodeled facility, cookies, coffee, to the very professional, and knowledgeable staff. This is by far the best experiance I have ever had at a repair center. They not only explained in detail what needed to be done, but why. I have recommened this place to all my friends and family. \r \r Keep up the good work. more

Poor Customer service 7/27/2010

Made a scheduled appointment for tires and canceled it a week in advance dure to additional work being done somewhere else (GM Shop - For a GM issue). The same tires were $75 cheaper and I could get it all done at one time. I was told I was a ""Carshop Tool."" Pros: Location Cons: Condescending, arrogant more

Terrible prices 7/15/2010

Paid over 900$ for a brake job on an 01 jetta, what a joke. Paid $50 for an oil change that I had a $18 coupon for. Apparently since the oil filter costs $1 more than normal the coupon is not valid. My $25 oil change (sans an $18 coupon that didn't work) ended up being $46 and change. What a joke. Don't waste your time and money. Pros: they do the job Cons: expect to pay 100-200% more than your job is worth more

Big jobs can be really expensive 5/18/2010

My experience with the people here was overall good. Staff was very personable and thorough. I do have a problem with being charged $85 for a 2 mile tow only to find out that the cost of repair will be over $2,000. Any other incentive to help ease the cost of a $2,000 repair would have been helpful. It also took no less than 3 hours to find out what was wrong, granted it was a big job but better communication along the way would have been nice. Pros: Personable, thorough, cookies and coffee Cons: Expensive, High Tow Cost more

Had My Car Towed to Dealer; Saved 50% 2/5/2010

Whilst using my parents' M-Class, the coolant light came on and engine started to overheat. I opened the hood and found it leaking coolant. Because the dealer had closed for the day and I was near the Woodbury BP, I decided to bring it here. The friendly service advisor gave me a ride to a friend's in Woodbury, which I greatly appreciated. Woodbury AutoCare quoted me $2,700. They wanted to replace the water pump, radiator, fan clutch and radiator hose. I called Maplewood Imports Mercedes-Benz and had it towed there. The total repair cost with tax and towing at Mercedes-Benz: $1,172. Only the water pump and radiator hose was replaced. Also, this business has a tow truck, but I was told that it is only for towing vehicles to Woodbury Autocare, not away from. Pros: Friendly Service, Complimentary Cookies and Coffee Cons: Over-zealously Wanted to Replace Major Parts more

Owner Message
  • In 1963, Standard Oil confronted Clarence with perhaps the greatest challenge to his existence. Standard Oil was building a new service station in Cottage Grove and they selected Clarence to manage the location. After only several months, Standard Oil made Clarence an offer to become an independent dealer and take ownership of the business he had already begun to build. Clarence's small service station quickly grew to be amongst the top performing Standard Oil stations in Minnesota. In 1972, Standard Oil, which soon after became Amoco and later BP, offered Clarence the rights for yet another station to be built in nearby Woodbury. Again Clarence's business grew, but this time much quicker than even he knew possible. By the early 1980's, the Woodbury site had grown to be the highest gasoline volume Amoco in Minnesota. Today after being rebuilt in 1988, and converted to a BP in 2003, Woodbury BP remains as a clear leader among Minnesota's BP stations. In the early 1980's the company was positioned for growth. Soon, Clarence's son, Stephen, was emerging with an interest to establish the needs of the future for the company as he worked into the role of President. Shortly thereafter, another son, Jeffery, worked into his current responsibilities as Vice President. In 1996, Amy Dumonceaux, Clarence's youngest daughter, emerged as an area supervisor and became the Human Resource Manager in 2000. Under the current leadership, the company began to expand into multiple Amoco sites, Holiday Station Stores, Goodyear Dealerships, NAPA Auto Parts. As a leader in automotive related businesses since 1964, The LINN Companies continues to pride itself on the accomplishments of each business individually. In 2004, The Companies trademarked the name Paramount Auto Service, which allowed all five Goodyear locations to be under one common dealer identity. Paramount Auto Service continues to distinguish our Goodyear locations as a step above the rest as we become one of Goodyear's largest Minnesota dealers. Today, The LINN Companies employs almost 200 employees, operates 15 retail locations and owns and manages 19 commercial properties. Even in these new and often turbulent markets, one of The LINN Companies traits remains constant—“Growth is only possible by treating each individual customer and the employees of the company with professionalism, honesty and respect, “ says company President, Stephen Linn. This sense of pride and commitment within The LINN Companies clearly is what makes the difference
