Desserts are Amazing 10/8/2005

Papa Haydn serves excellent food and dessert, and the environment of the restaurant is fun and sophisticated. The neighborhood (NW 23rd Ave) is fun, and I think adds to the appeal of the restaurant. The food is delicious and creative, and you have plenty of options. The desserts, though, are a major draw. The cakes, the panna cotta, anything with chocolate -- Papa Haydn knows their desserts and offers a wide selection. Expect a bit of a wait on weekends, but the wait is worth it (and save room for dessert!). more

Yummy desserts, skip the food 9/28/2005

The desserts here are fabulous. Go with friends and share so you can taste more things. The triple chocolate cake is divine. The food isn't worth the price. It can be real hit or miss, is overpriced for what you get and is never as good as the desserts. An expensive tab if the only saving grace is the slice of cake at the end. more
