The first time there DR Rau was great! The second time I got there my appt was rescheduled without my knowledge.I ask for a manager and this Big Spanish female spoke to me very rude,very unprofessional not helpful that I felt intimidated by they way she was talking to me.NEVER AGAIN! more

Good doctors but bad optical shop 2/19/2013

The doctors are excellent. But never, never go to the optical shop at Bayonne, NJ. It took them two weeks to make my glasses but with the wrong power on one of the lense. It then took them another week to send me the right lense. But this time one lense had a lighter tint than the other. I am now into week four and still without my glasses. I would have been better off getting my glasses done elsewhere. more

Very good experience 8/4/2011

I don't understand some of the other reviews as I am a new patient and I was treated very nicely by the front desk. I did have to wait about 45 minutes beyond my appt time. However, Dr Cervenak spent quite a long time with me and I felt that I received good care for what was a very serious situation. more

bad choice 9/10/2010

I'm a, "new Patient", I told the young girl at the first window I have an appointment today, she then tells me okay have a seat and i will call you. well i sat for about 30 minutes before i was called.I sat there and heard all types of nonsence, fowl language, cell phones. Then this woman who was the manager the mouth on her.The amount of time with the doctor draged. She repeated to me the same thing over and over. Seriously no no.. more

Great Physicians! 5/6/2010

I’ve been a patient for many years and have found that Dr. Panariello and Dr, Cervenak are both excellent Physicians. The waiting time to be seen is short, but; the amount of time spent on care is probably too much. But when it comes to my eyesight, I appreciate the attention I receive. I highly recommend them and their associates for complete eye care. more

I have been a patient at the Palisade Eye Associates for over 15 years now and I am really satisfied with the level of service that I have received from the doctors and staff. The doctors have a lot of patience and LISTEN. They are very courteous and friendly. more

Overbooked schedules, Little care for detail. 9/14/2009

They overbook patient slots, then go over the motions like it is a factory assembly line when you arrive. Total time with doctor < 180 seconds. Total time spent on checking what the right lens is < 60 seconds. Finally the prescription glass may be dizzy and I don't feel they are right! Oh and go back for an appointment and it will take a MONTH to get the wrong prescription sorted. more

Bad office, not recommended 4/4/2009

This office sucks! The office manager and her assistant are really bad and just utterly rude. They don't know what how to deal with their customer. They even give expired contact eye solution as a complimentary. Thanks but no thanks. I want to return it but why should I came back anyway. I'm not going to recommend this office to anyone even to my company where I work. In this bad economy, you better go to other eye office where you will be treated well and get your money worth. more

Great Eye Care! 11/3/2006

I've been seeing Dr. Panariello and Dr. Cervenac since i was six months old (i had a blocked tear duct). I've now been seeing him for over 26 years and have never once had a bad experience. Quality eye care; savvy doctors; personalized attention. You couldnt ask for more from a doctor. more

not a good experience 8/9/2006

My father had gone to Dr. Panariello and had a bad experience. Work was done on his good eye, the one without macular degeneration and it turned out badly. Now he can hardly see. Dr's response, Well you have macular degen. and he walked out of the examination room. Never to go there again. more

Dr. Panariello and Dr. Cervanax (a married couple running an eye care facility) are a really great choice for your eye care. I was recommended to them for a special concern I've had and really it's been a pleasure for the past few years. i recommend them to all my friends and family. Appointments are hassle free; it's a busy practice, but you can work with your schedule. Insurance and payments are hassle free. They have the most updated equipment and the staff makes you feel really comfortable, even with that horroble eye-puff exam! Thye even have other specialists coming into the office if you need them. Retinal specialists and so forth. A glasses store is connected and available for your frames and lenses. more
