This place has changed. What used to be a friendly family owned company with good selection and decent prices has turned into a profit machine with less than quality product. We have shopped here for 10 years and disappointed with the "feel" of what the market has become. Plants have had bugs and worms that destroy plants within a few weeks. Be very aware of the return policy - 7 days. Bachmans' is all summer - no questions asked. After purchasing 98 plants from Pahl's this year alone, we asked to exchange 4 that didn't make it; unfortunately the owner denied us under the "policy" "because people take advantage of us everyday". As of this year, they also require you to show your receipts so the boys at the gate can check off each plant - much like Sam's. In general, staff are not familiar with horticulture nor helpful in finding you someone that is. Finally, there has been a tremendous amount of turnover of long time employees in the past year. In the future, we will drive right past Pahl's to Bachman's and support a company that values it's customers.
