I have been to various locations of PF Chang’s and have had a decent experience until I went to the PF Chang’s in PLEASANTON, Ca where I was flabbergasted by the rude, nasty and aggressive behavior of the hostess at the front counter – her name was SARAH DAVIDSON. Upon not being called beyond the specified wait time for my table I casually went over to Sarah, the hostess, to follow up on the status -- she responded in a very nasty and aggressive tone of voice. Never experiencing such an unacceptable crude and non-customer oriented conduct at any restaurant I asked for the Manager (who turned out to be at the front-counter too), and much to my surprise and dismay the manager had a similar crude, aggressive attitude and was outright argumentative -- the Manager’s name was SARAH RIVERS. Interestingly, even before my follow-up with the hostess, while I was sitting and waiting for my table I was observing the people that were coming into the restaurant and noticed these two Sarahs conducted themselves differently – to the non-Caucasians they talked in a matter-of-fact/stern way and to the Caucasians their tone was friendlier. I felt I was transported in time to some old Southern State, and was not in California. The Hostess, Sarah Davidson and the Manager, Sarah Rivers both share the same first name and the same nasty temperament with no people skills and are also racially biased. The management of PF Chang’s should be aware of such uncouth employees and keep them, i.e. SARAH DAVIDSON and SARAH RIVERS, in the back-room away from Public interaction.
