Outback New Smyrna Beach

I ordered my steak medium, it was raw in the middle, sent it back twice and still did not get it cooked all the way thru. I have never had a steak this bad- raw. I do like the onion blossom but not sure I will go back. more

Pretty sad when you say your salad was the best part of your meal such as was my case. Ordered the NY Strip with mashed potatoes and the house salad and all 3 where a a major disappointment. Salad was so-so but skimpy on extras. (2 croutons?). My 2 companions complained of a hot peppery taste in both their salads and had only a few bites. Mashed potatoes actually tasted good I think but there was such a small amount it was to hard to tell. I would guess there was maybe 1/2 cup leveled off of potatoes. My potatoe must have been the runt of the litter. My companions got a stuffed potato and the other french fires. Besides the stuffed potato coming with no stuff (again very skimpy on extras looked like a teaspoon of sour cream) the fries were the best of the bunch. more

I have ordered prime rib, porterhouse steaks, although cooked correctly, rare, they seem to lack the weight as advertised on the menue. I have been told they shrink while cooking........although staek does shrink to some extent, it should not lose half it's weight being cooked rare! We brought in a scale on 2 different occasions and a 26oz. porterhouse became a 17oz and a the prime rib was 5oz short. They brought out more when we squawked but how many people just take it and don't know the difference. It seems this particular place is famous for this.
