Inexpensive 11/29/2005

It is a very easy to spot store, because it is a neon pink building. Awesome place, the sales are particularly outrageous, since they like to have one dollar sales events almost every week. A one stop store for university students who is a bit tight on cash. Convenient location near the campus is another plus. more

A Thift Store That Benefits the AIDS Healthcare Foundation 8/16/2005

I love shopping, and I love to donate to charitable organizations. What I love the best is when I get to do both at the same time! Out of the Closet is a thrift store that benefits the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, an organization that helps indigent people with AIDS get much needed healthcare. They are located on University Avenue, and you can't miss the garishly neon pink building glaring at you. Prices are very good and the clothing is in very good condition. They also have books, vinyl records, household items and furniture. There is also one night a week, Friday I believe, where all clothing items in the store are $1 for an hour! Check out Out Of the Closet, you may find something uniquely you! more
